Sharekhan's Trade Tiger 2 Feedback Thread

Great feedback - thanks! Any problems with your processor over-heating after 15-20 minuts of operation? TT2.0.1 had this problem, at least on the 64-bit version. Not sure about others. However, they seem to have fixed it.
The CPU overheating thing occured on account of high CPU usage in the first build of TT 2.0 this was fixed in 2.0.1. I've noticed that the CPU usage in 2.1 doesn't exceed 15%, most of the time it hovers between 3-6%.

I did notice that the charts didn't update from 2:55pm to 3:03 pm today. This was inspite of logging on to different servers. It wasn't a net issue as odin and nse now were still working..

I had an open position (short) in TT. Had to cover it at a higher price on account of the feed stoppage.

My charts very well updated from 2:55pm to 3:03 pm today in that new Trade tiger version 2.1.0.0 and i had no problem with this new version.

Ohh yes i forgot to mention.. for intraday data now you can select a custom dat upto one month back to get intraday data since that date..but the skip in highs and low is also important can make a lot of difference..
for eg todays high was outside the range made in last couple of days.. so i had put and order to buy above that my trade could be wrong coz of a couple of 100 points missing from the high...

One more important question: Does TT 2.1 provide more than a month of INTRA-day data? TT 2.0.1 doesn't.

Thanks,

TST,

Even TT-2.0.1.0 used to give intraday's chart of last few days, even I
remember putting chart somewhere in Traderji few weeks ago.

TT2.0.1 provides upto a month of historic data on the 60 minute or smaller time frame. My question is, does TT2.1 provide more than this? I think pav has answered this. If it is 45 days then I'm still curious as to why they can't allow more data tables for intra-day charts. Even script based charts like the one found on calloptionputoption, for example, provide for more than 1 month of intra-day data. This should not be that hard. I really was hoping this would be addressed. It would have been handy in days like today where the NIFTY is into its 5135-5220 ceiling but intra-day we can only go back 1 month and so are unable to see the higher levels in this ceiling for precise entries.

I stand corrected. Calloptionputoption charts do not provide much historic data on the intra-day charts. I was thinking of the US markets and Tradestation - TS does.

TST,

To be frank, intra graph loses relevence once last 5 days or 10 days are over.
Last 45 trading days means roughly 60 calendar days ,which is good
enough.
