SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

Hey TradeHunter,

This looks to be a simple and safe strategy for swing trading. Profits would not be huge bu they'll be consistent. There are whipsaws and ocassioanlly one may get false calls but over all I guess it shud help you to get at least 7 trades correct out of 10. As you said this wud be handy for very high beta scrips with large volume but wen I backtested it with lot of other scrips which are popular it was on par. :thumb:

For e.g SATYAM

Here 3 EMA has just crossed over 15 EMA and price on 26th Aug (after crossover) has closed above 3 EMA, which shud be a indicator to enter long in this scrip...(Correct me if I am wrng).

Fanatic Trader - you are absolutely right .... 315 follows price action irrespective of what the underlying scrip is .. high volume or low volumes, large cap or small cap, equity or commodity ....

I tried intraday with 5 EMA and 30 EMA, mostly it avoids whipsaws... yet have to experiment with real trade.. let me try on monday..

On which timeframe??

one more request can u post a chart for the august month sighting the entry exit and add pls it wold be really helpful to understand your strategy better...

Hey TH... Looking at today's chart.. if market continues to stay down... we are likely to enter a bearish mode according to 315... am i correct in that... and if yes when do we go short... before markets closes today.. or tomm and the end of the day... and also can u pls tell me when we go short 15EMA should be above that day EOD and 3EMA below 15 EMA?

If market closes below 4600 level today, then it will be in bearish mode, so keep watching those levels end of the day..
