Huge sell generated today, 2nd consecutive whipsaw which, as i said earlier, was expected.

I am short now (normal quantity). If this sell signal also whips, my next buy will be double quantity.

Dear SH,

Is there any range, on both sides, within which price of a scrip (for example, Nifty-I) has to remain to call it a whipsaw when 3ema criscrosses 15ema in a short period of time?

A client of mine was interested in getting some scripts coded to play with...he is a non IT guy...I did not have time myself and IAC never learned Ami AFL coding....so I outsourced few scripts to a couple of guys....this is one of them.

I will be posting it in the thread in a week or so. I hope people will be willing to test it out and give comments for correction of any errors.

Mind you, I won't be able to help with any setup or errors of Amibroker or your Data software. Your Ami should be ready, getting data from upstream vendor in a week or so....

Once the script is posted, I will simply get any entry/exit signal errors rectified and repost it again.

it is not 2nd time . This is 3rd time nifty whipsaw, if nifty againg give buy signal and whips then it will be fourth time. Am i correct or not please throw some light.

Hi SH,

At what time you have taken position?
Nifty was weak since yesterday morning & there were NO symptom of getting it recover.... in this case when do you square of your position & when do you take reverse position?
I mean you have exited your long with some stop loss or exited at the end of the day only..

Shorts from 6040 levels yesterday... booked at 5980 levels..... rolled over and shorted Nov series at 6061.
