SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

Hi Friends,

Just to update 315 nifty trade. As above, the leftover 50% longs were exited on Fridays days close at 6095 ....and shorted at the same level (normal quantity).

Booked 50% shorts at 5870 levels ..... holding rest for Monday. This is cool 225 points profit per lot till now.

Hi,
I am a little confused with one thing and before I start trading with this strategy, I would like to get this cleared up.

In one of the first few pages, you mentioned this:

yes 315 is bearish and I am holding shorts ....

I use it on EOD only ... I have tried using it on intraday timeframes like 5 mins, 15 mins, 30 mins etc but found it wasnt that effective due to gaps etc that skew the EMAs suddenly on intraday charts....

I use icharts and they have real time intradays charts but they are not free .. they are paid.

So, I was wondering whether the EOD data chart .ie. the chart required for 3 15 ema, is also available for free or is it paid?
Hope you dont mind my asking. I just wanted to be sure if I am referencing the right chart.

So, the charts you recommend are the EOD charts at icharts.in . I wanted to know if they are the ones which are available for free at http://www.icharts.in/charts.html or do we have to pay for that.

Doesnt the charts at google finance http://www.google.com/finance?q=BOM:500570

also show eod real time data or do you think icharts is the one we should refer?

I read in some post of yours, that we shouldn't get in on a trade at about 12 noon. You recommended in some post that we should get in on a trade just before closing time. Is that valid even if we are referring the eod charts with real time data?

Sorry, if these questions seem stupid. I just wanted to make sure I was doing things correctly before I got started with this.

EOD real time charts for NF are available as paid on certain websites like icharts. It is also available of Trade Tiger of Sharekhan.

TMNKIN also posts real time crossovers just before days close here on the thread.

One can wait for an opening next day and take a position at 9.15 AM next day if they dont have access to real time EOD charts.

Sir,In Trade Tiger if selected daily period it does not show the live candle.The last candle is of previous day.Please tell me if you have any way to have live candle in Trade Tiger.Thanks
