SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

Hi SH,
You said you have exited your short position as the price has touched the 3 EMA but as per you strategy you should have been exited when the 3 EMA goes above 15 EMA as per your initial stop loss. Till today the 3 EMA is still below 15 EMA.

1.Why you have exited when the price touches the 3 EMA ?
2. At what price you have exited your position as according to me the price touches 3 EMA around 11-12 PM and you posted after 2 PM ?
Appreciate your's comment on it ?

Nishu - correct, I exited my shorts only once 3 EMA was touched and nifty bounced back above 5975 levels, please see my comment above. I opened longs at days closing price.

Thanks for your reply but still my question is why you have exited your short position on 3 EMA touch whereas you should have been exited on 315 bullish crossover ?

Nishu - You can assume that I exited shorts at Fridays closing price based on 315 rules..... :lol:

My trades dont matter.... you just need to follow 315.

There must be logic behind this or is this a simple instinct of yours and if there is a logic can you please share it so that we can be perfect in 315 strategy ?

Nishu - that exit of shorts was not based on 315 ... I dont trade just 315 but some other strategies too.

In context of the 315 strategy, please assume that I exited shorts and opened longs near Fridays closing price.

Hi - I already have 3 threads running on TJ ... 2 dedicated to swing trading and one dedicated to intraday. I think if you can master these 3, it should be enough.
