SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

Could anyone post the value of 3Ema and 15 Ema for Niffty future and Godrej industries futures? I am a bit confused. I am LONG on both these scripts. I am concerned about what is the stop loss value for these and scripts so that I can reverse my position tomorrow if the market goes down. 3EMA and 15 Ema values for these scripts are at a meeting distance.

Open a fresh excel sheet...then put yesterday's values in first row.For example if you are making nifty sheet...Nifty Jan fut close 6072.25, 3EMA 6100.92, 15EMA 6067.15...Now copy formulas of EMAs from my sheet to the second row.After this if you put nifty value in second row..you will get current EMAs.Keep sheet updated daily.

Hi SH,
I have two doubts which I want to get clarified or else I will be going in a wrong direction all together.

1. For 315 do we calculate EMAs based on Future price or Equity SPOT price. Because sometimes if I see equity price the stocks gives BUY signal as per 315 but in Future price the stock is yet to generate the BUY signal .

2.For futures If I want to find out high volume scripts on what basis do i need to filter it out.Is it based on No of Contracts or Open interest or somthing else ?

I want to filter it out to at least 100 stocks out of total 223 future stocks.
so that I can keep a track of 100 stocks for swing trading as per 315 strategy.

3. Suppose I want to caluclate the 15 EMA of a script for FEB future on Feb 1st , Do I need to calculate it from JAN 15th .

Hi hawaisanjay,
Is the 15 EMA of Godrej Ind is 190.34 or 188.61.
As per my calculation I gets 3 EMA 197.02 and 15 EMA as 188.61

The data I took is from NSE website future EODs of GODREJIND.

Please let me know how you calulate the EMAs

How did you arrive the figure 6022 which marks the 315 bearish cross over? and I guess this is the important point to understand in this strategy.
