The 5400 calls that were bought to hedge the shorts have been booked now with good profits.

When you said u bought 5400 calls as insurance, how many lots did you bought coz from 5200 you have lost 250 pts and call couldnt have gain 250 pts so wast just wondering how many lots u took as insurance...

If nifty turns from here then banknifty will also, both are inversely connected. Banknifty is well affected by nifty's movements and both will often show same patterns.

Are you suggesting to a signal on BankNifty (or any other stock) should be considered only when it is supported by Nifty in the same mode?

It may be a good idea in general and help in cutting down whipsaws. If someone has verified the same for this strategy please share.

^ No but if nifty goes down then banknifty get beat up it might be minor or major depends on the fall.

Compare Banknifty and nifty chart from jan, banknifty gave 2-3 whips while nifty was consistent on its way down. Nifty is like more in control of the strategy.

PLEASE ANSWER MY QUERRY POSTED ABOVE
"gone through ur strategy, a nice and simple one, having few doubts:-
1) If 315 bullish crossover occurs at 11 A.M. and positive news from rest other mkts (international) so nifty moving up like roket what to do wait till 3.25 pm for long entry or to be entered at xover.
2)If bullish/bearish xover between two days then what to do (for example if on 13th the crossoven didnt happen and on 14th opening was gapup/gap down so the xover happened between 13th & 14th) WHEN TO BUY IN THE MORNING OR AT3:25P.M.
3) further "add" is also done when candle touch 15EMA( right then) or wait till 3.25p.m.
4)when we have long/short entry then which month(current, NEXT, far) and strike price to be dealt with.
Sorry if my querries are stupid ones but plz reply weak in T.A."
