SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

Added another 50% at 15 EMA retest 5765 .... average price 5800 odd.... back into longs that were booked earlier at higher levels...

Cheers

Bearish crossover today.

Overall trade in good profits, the purists followers should have bought at 5545 (24th March) and closed out today at 5762 so 220 odd points profit. I got around 400 points profit since I have booked profits around 5990 range and entered again around 5800 (which gave me additional 190 points).

Plus this trade was a double quantity trade (remember the 4 whipsaws earlier) so slightly more than 400 points .... more than enough to wipe out all losses of the 4 whipsaws. Markets cant take away money from a desciplined trader :thumb:

I have opened fresh shorts now at 5762.

Cheers

Dear experts, I have a doubt. You guys can clear the doubt.
Today axisbank is still not crossing 315. but nifty is sure.
Incase i reverse the trade with nifty as per 315 rule, it is an indication of falling nifty for next few days.
in such a case can I hold axis bank longs, it is already showing the tendency to fall from highs of 1445 in a matter of few days
If you took positionin Axis Bank as per 315 rules, you must be long from 23rd March at around 1310/- and saw a high of 1460 on 7th April!! a move of 10+% :D

Also on 30th March the bar was not touching 3 EMA and you could have exited at close (~1425) and reentered again at lower levels.
Today the EMA's are yet to cross ,so why be in a hurry, you are already well in profit... enjoy and maintain your discipline!! All the very best. :clapping:

Sh,

Just a clarification regarding your exit point at 5990, what was the trigger for that? The candle was touching 3EMA that day. Please comment...

Thanks for the clarification.
I entered midway ( not at entry point) It was violation of 315 startegy.
I kept long yday. Hopefully, it will recover.

I have some observation. Experts can comment on the point.
After 315 cross over, at one stage, MACD and Stochastics reverse the trend.
In case of range bound market, I found squaring off the position at that point reduces whipsaws.

Another stray Idea is to to enter at 315 cross over and reverse the trade at MACD and stochastics reversal and [roceed. This way I did paper trading and found lesser whipsaws eventhough sometimes big gains are missed as MACD and stochastics cross over again may reverse in the mean time without 315 crossover.

If you have incorporated MACD and stochastics into your trading strategy for 315 then go ahead follow yours... then people following will not be in a position to give you fruitful guidance! All you should do is follow a firm path!!

I am following 315 purely. But finding ways of avoiding whipsaws. It is just an idea based on a littlebit of homework

I respect the system. But may be some improvement can be done to make it a better than the present one.
