SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

3ema will go below 15 ema only if NF goes below 5438 today

use this formula to find out crossover point

crossover point=(EMA(Close,3) * (2 / 4 - 1)-EMA(Close,15) * (2 / 16 - 1)) / (2 /4- 2 /16);

looks like fake crossover of 3 and 15 as we trend 400 pts down already before this

SummaSumma - You still sound uncertain and doubtful ..... yes I am holding longs (only 50%) since 5552 since 2 days back

Please dont wait for my follow up, everything has been explained under this thread on when to exit etc so I am sure you will be able to take a similar exit as mine and other 315 traders.

Yes, i was little less in confident eventhough from inside i am quite comfortable with the rules.

May be because this is the first trade i took with this system after reading it for 4-5 days, i was just asking for followup. But yes, you are rite, ever required data is here in the thread....

Okay, so I will give follow-up of this trade till close and you can just correct me if i am wrong in some place...

RH, you beat me to it, this is what i was going to post and you did it. Yes its not prudent to ADD on retrace to 15 EMA.. ofcourse SH has the last word , but he has been putting in his input endlessly, so let us not always wait for his responce. Look for his view on it in the thread itself.

Pyramiding

Pyramiding or 'adds' are obviosly done once our position has 'swung' into profits. The rule is we add when the markets correct after a swing, price comes and touched 15 EMA again (but 3 EMA hasnt crossed over). This means that we add very close to our SAR hence keeps the risk small and also ensures that even if SAR is triggered we still end up in net profits (since our initial position is in profits hopefully now).

SAR = Stop And Reverse.

It simply means we stop our current position and reverse our trade...(convert long to short and vice versa)

In 315 trade,
we LONG when 3EMA goes above 15EMA
we SHORT when 3EMA goes below 15EMA

SH mentioned that "we add very close to our SAR" because PYRAMIDING is done when the price is near the 15EMA level, which means even when market goes against u after ADD, you are going to do "SAR" as 3EMA is going to cross in other direction with 15EMA. Thus reducing our risk...
