SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

if strict flow trader,ema can be used as get redy for correction or if strict ema trader flow=confirmation

Do not understood what you want to say.

Reversal point= 5314
15EMA= 5276
3EMA= 5248
Close= 5268

So, close is below 15EMA. These values are based on MINI, which should be almost same as NIFTY50. I have calculated these EMA values since the start of the series i.e. 20th March. So these are pretty smooth averages and accurate..

Excel Formula for reversal

=IF((B5=""),"",(((C5*((2/4)-1))-(D5*((2/16)-1)))/((2/4)-(2/16))))

B5=Today's Close
C5=Today's 3EMA
D5=Today's 15EMA :thumb:

My RT charts with EOD settings is already showing a 3/15 Cross!!! I feel that the reversal point may not be what is calculated by you??

maruti future may12 --- 3ema crossed 15ema at 1337. shorted at 1336 & covered at 1324, could have kept for day or two.

Still 3 ema is > yesterday 3 ema (only with few decimals). So no short as per 315.

I would like to Post a WARNING!! hazarding many members would not like it :

DO NOT TRADE 315 STRATEGY JUST ON 3 AND 15 EMA ALONE. IT WILL BE INJURIOUS TO YOUR WEALTH!!!

One needs to be well versed with 3EMA exits and 15 EMA adds to go for trading based on this strategy!!

It might have further been improved with the NEW exit rules but have not gone through them hence not commenting on them!!

I repeat : Do not trade the Crossovers only, the strategy by SH has much more in it than simple crossovers!!!

This warning helped me avoid some losses!!! On backtest I also found that trading the Crossover alone was disastrous!!! One need to trade the entire strategy!!!
