SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

3 EMA touched.... people who booked profits around 6200 can now enter longs at 6160 again (if following 315 strictly).

Disclaimer - I am short since yesterday and will long only above 6210.

YESBANK had given Buy signal . But now its -2.6% down and trading at 307.
Shall I close my Longs .As SBI deposit rate hiked will it be -ve signal for banking sector ?

If a candle does not touch 3ema then it will revert to 3ema within next few days. So if the gap is big like it was yesterday you can short to have a profitable trade.

lots of candles were not touching 3ema yesterday see #2046, which triggered correction.

So as now by EOD 3 EMA will touch adn cross 15 EMA , Shall I sqare off my Longs and go short in YesBank

Hi All,
I have two doubts which I want to get clarified or else I will be going in a wrong direction all together.

1. For 315 do we calculate EMAs based on Future price or Equity SPOT price. Because sometimes if I see equity price the stocks gives BUY signal as per 315 but in Future price the stock is yet to generate the BUY signal .

2.For futures If I want to find out high volume scripts on what basis do i need to filter it out.Is it based on No of Contracts or Open interest or somthing else ?

I want to filter it out to at least 100 stocks out of total 223 future stocks.
so that I can keep a track of 100 stocks for swing trading as per 315 strategy.
