thank god i was not trading with zerodha..today my positions uld have cut at 3.10 pm for 6064..i squared offend of day at 6074..uld hv lost 500 rs per lot if i was with zerodha

!!!!!! They dont cut your position if you have the required margins.

Its a square off ONLY if you dont have the margins.

And dear, if you actually didnt have enough margin, then you should not be trading in futures in the first place with such high leverage.

It would mean you had less that 25000 rs to control a position worth 3,10,000

Thats a mad mad leverage to trade with, and you wont have to worry being with any broker if you trade with such leverage, as the markets will catch up with you and smack you out of the markets.

yes i agree this is a problem, they should give some more time for day traders to close their positions before they auto square off those position which do not meet overnight margin requirements.

hopefully as its a new brokerage company they will look into this problem and try to rectify by giving more time till auto square off

tks Sh and everyone else, chatroom is almost ready it is very fast and i have set it up with large visible fonts and date and time stamps for every post so we know when posts were made for trades. also it is set up with a log which means even if you log out and log in later you will be able to see all the chat that took place for past few days ..... even.

Only thing that remains is to decide whether to keep it open to everyone or to only members (need to log in) if we keep it open to everyone disadvantage is we may get people who just enter to create trouble or ask very basic questions without bothering to read the the thread but advantage is its accessable to everyone.

if we keep it invite only then disadvantage is members will be few but advantage is we know all the members in the room so no one can come and spam and also only those who are actually seriously trading the strategy will be there.

Also just so that there's no misunderstanding in either case (members only or everyone) it is 100% free forever or as long as people use the strategy and would like to get together for live trading withour beign interuppted or waiting for replies like in forum.

please SH and everyone else interested please give ur opinion

I am also planning to have a few pages which detail the strategy on the chat itself as well as any imp Q&A sessions we have that you guys want posted.

also if any other members will volunteer we can have moderators (just in case someone creates trouble and disturbs everyone) and also assign few members to update the daily results in tabular form.

so in short a complete solution :thumb:

please voice ur opinions also if interest is not much or people prefer the forum we can discontine the idea and use the forum which is not RT but also ok.

anybody to update trading result of ystday..i.e of 29 dec... i didnt trade
