SH Sir,

Kindly guide as how to trade in Stocks like Gitanjali.

Price Bars (7/7/2010 & 8/7/2010) had not touched 3EMA line and the 3EMA Value was 137.13.
On 9/7/2010, Price Bar did touched the 3EMA line, where as the Low of 9/7/2010 was 140.30 (8/7/2010 3EMA Value was 137.13)

Sir, I am not worried that the Trade failed, I want your valuable Guidance as how to Trade on such days, what should be the Stoploss at the time of taking
the Trade and at what point we should exit such type of Trades.

Sir, as per your experience what should be Percentage Success Ratio of this Statergy, out of 100 Trades taken on this Statergy of your's, how many you feel will be Success and meet the Target

Sir, trust me, if we have some Statergy to tackle the above mentioned situations like Gitanjali, this is a Priceless Statergy of your's and I feel honoured to rate as the best in the Stock Market.

Pls let me know what is it at the end of today?
If it is still not touching then should we short nifty tomorrow?
OR I am too late & I hould have done it before close of the trade today?

Clarification needed in 315 STRATEGY

Dear Seniors
Please see the attached Charts and tell me where I did wrong .
1.On 9th HDIL did not touch its 3EMA which stood at 349 for 2
days.So I shorted in the expectation that it would touch at least
350.Instead it went up causing a considerable loss.

2.Nifty Futures did not touch for the past 2 days its 3Ema @5320.
Why it had not come down ?
Expecting your kind explanation.

NF, however, has not touched 3ema for 3 days. today's 3ema was 5350 and NF low was 5356.
This is probably one of the statistical failure in this counter-trend trade.

WOW - This thread has suddenly gone active.

Ok guys - in this strategy, each trader has to define their own stoploss based on their money management rules. It can be a tick higher than the previous day's high (in case of shorts) or 1% of your trading capital.

This setup works 90% of the times, but will fail 10% of the times. Again its not a holy grail and please keep stoplosses.

In the current scenario, yes the markets have moved up and 3 EMA is not being touched for 2 days or more ... this falls in that 10% category of loss trades.

However please remember, with every passing day, the probabilities of 3 EMA getting touched goes higher.

Thanks.But my doubt is "the Candle not touching rule is for 2 days and on the third day it will touch 3Ema " or " it may extend to 3 days and on 4th day it will touch 3Ema " ?
If I am remembering correctly in the previous Posts Mr.Tradewith Hunter wrote he wish to add positions when NF touches 5320 (Today).
a.Since it has not touched today what is the percentage of its touching 3Ema tomorrow ?
b.The 3Ema has risen to 5350 the possibilities of NF going to 5320 ( 9th July 3ema value ) is very remote ?

Sir, We had Sold Nifty today at the opening with the Target of 5320 as Nifty Price had not touched 3EMA for last 2 days but again Price never touched 3EMA and 3EMA have moved up from 5320 to 5351, Sir now what is to be done and now how this Statergy is to be traded.

Secondly Sir, Price of Gitanjali Gems had not touched 3EMA on 7/7/2010 & 8/7/2010 and 3EMA Value was at 137.13 on 8/7/2010. On 9/7/2010 Price did touched 3EMA but the Low was 140.30 and never went down 137.13, 3EMA Value of 8/7/2010

Sir, I would request you explain this Gitanjali trade. I am not worried about the failure of the above mentioned Gitanjali trade but want to understand how actually we should deal with these type of trades and as per your experince what is the Ratio of these type of when we Trade on this 3EMA Statergy.

I would be obliged for your help & information.
