Is there a way to know when 100EMA last touched in future?

nifty future 100 ema last touched on 18/04/2013. at 5760.now 100 day ema is 5781. so by theory by 18/05/2013 it should touch 5760 again .

thanks traderravi for correcting me .. it was my mistake .. but 15 ema should touch once in six weeks .. thats 5826 now cmp is 5944 and 15 ema is 5826 and last time nifty touched 15 ema is 16/04/2013. so now this time its 6 weeks to be completed by 25th may right ??

There is no such rule for RCOM, as this is only for Nifty.

But still last time 15 ema touched on 2nd April and on 14th April, 6th week completed.

This is about spot price only.

CMP = 111.95
15 ema = 103.80

I saw data of last 1.5 years, it touched within 6 week. I dont have old data, if somebody can check and tell it will be great.

Let see how it peform from tomorrow.

Didn't touch on 14th according to google charts. Since the whole ADAG pack trends in smaller timeframes, in general you can apply 315 to these stocks. So its reasonable to expect a touch of 15 EMA in next 1-2 weeks for RCOM.

I also checked as per google chart only. And it was touched on 2nd April.
So yesterday 6th week completed.

If anybody have old data like for last 5 years for RCOM, it will be helpful to check previous retracement.

I checked up the charts as back as 2010 and found that RCOM had spent the maximum time to retrace back to 15EMA from the period of 11-11-2010 to 24-12-2010 when it fell from 180 to retrace to 132 levels to touch 15EMA. Coincidentally it took exactly 43 calender days for that retracement. That is exactly where we are standing today!!! :thumb:

I think going broadly we should treat 6th week till friday (last trading day of that week) and not strictly as 42 days.

I am short 2 lot in RCOM.

Let see how it react to 1st day after 6th week is over.
