4800 PE touched 195 today .. I have booked it at 192 which gives me 8 points profit on the overall combo (the original combo was bought at 184).

This also means that the 5100 CE which I am holding is free now for me. If markets rebound from here 5100 CE price will rise.. and all that will be pure profit since I have already recoevered my investment

If markets continue to fall... no problems... I have nothing to lose now.

100 EMA worked again !!!

Like 315, it is also a nice strategy. I have much benefits from 315 & believe so for this also.

However, i am facing a problem. While going through charts (In Metastock) 100 EMA changes as it is zoomed out/in. Could you please help me.

With reference to my market reversal prediction, Nifty has reversed to touch 15 EMA in its 4th week since last 15 EMA touch ....

Sold 5100 CE today morning at 11 .. which means my combo was sold for 192 + 11 = 203 points.

Original investment was 184 points so approx 19 points profit or approximatley 10% returns... couldnt get 50% returns but 10% return in a month is not worth complaining about either.

Now 100 EMA touch has happened again with Nifty at 4913 hence buying another straddle for March series :

Bought 4800 PE for 111
Bought 5000 CE for 114

Total investment 215 points or Rs 10750 per pair.

Will again hold expecting 25% - 50% returns on investments, fingers crossed !!

But i have got the answer. It was my mistake. I plotted 100 EMA, which was not to scale with Right. When corrected with Scale to right, no variation presented.

Straddle Total Price is now @ 95 (5000 Call) + 65 (4800 Put) = 160 * 50 = 8000. Loss of around 2750 Rs. Per Pair.... Premium has fallen very badly...
