Convert it into an exploration then only look at the charts that have triggered . . .

Happy, Thanks for your patience and reply. I did run an exploration as suggested by you and here is what happened. .. I run the MACD crossover afl in the exploration and it showed a list of stocks having the cross. However the problem is that the crossover shown are on daily timeframes. Can you suggest a way I can check for crossovers in different timeframes? The afl i use shows me crossover in all time frames as and when they occur but strangely in the exploration the scan shows only daily crossovers. Any help?

If there is no specific formula (mathematical terms) won't be able to proceed with afl coding.

Before you run the exploration there is a time frame setting you can change that to your desired TF

Look for a Spanner Icon on the Analysis window - - - using that access the settings window

On the General Tab >> choose your desired Periodicity for TF

If the AFL uses TimeframeSet//restore//expand//getprice, then in that case for Periodicity choose the smallest one

In ami it works only from lower to higher TFs . . . not other way round

Sing saab is it possible to make Afl code that displays all macd in one afl

viz

200 ticks macd 5 min macd 10 min macd 15 min macd all in 1 afl if yes what will be code

Conditions below :-

1. buy when macd gives bullish signal and adx is above 25 .
2. sell when macd gives negative signal or u get decent 25 points or market is closed.
3. short when macd gives bearish signal and adx is above 25.
4. cover when macd gives bullish signal or u get decent 25 points or market is closed.

do you expect me to search then spoon feed you the post no....this forum has thread tools like search which you could have used to find if you wanted to......everybody wants to just sit back and make others do the work.....sorry I am not going to do that, especially since you chose to mock with LOL for not giving the code on a platter.

FYI it took me less than a minute to find it...I have searched and got the post number but you make the effort and get it

P.S. let each person find it themselves. those you get it take the code...but don't post the link here....let people interested show that they are really interested by making atleast this small effort to get it
