I am sorry...to think back the question was a bit foolish... the problem was i am looking at a bonus adjusted chart.... so did not see any value above 160...that is why I was wondering.... anyway...see ... I learned another mistake of mine... always look at pre bonus/ pre split data to get the real picture...thanks ....sorry...I am still learning... regards karthik

Hey there...nothing foolish or anything like that. The problem lies with your historical data perhaps.
That's the reason I have collected data going back a few years and work with it, rather than depend on softwares etc!
We all learn something each day, Karthik. That's what the fun is all about, yes?

Hi Ashish...there is some great story behind this counter as it keeps making new highs.
It's a CK Birla group industry, and product range covers fibre cement corrugated & plain sheets, aerated concrete blocks, calcium silicate insulation product, jointing material for auto gaskets, plant & machinery for fibre cement products etc. In addition to this there is valuable property as well.
Following a strong runup, it's in a nice consolidation phase where it frequently has tested 610-620. For now the trading range is 580-610, and a close over 620 should set it onwards again. First target is 700 plus. Do keep a close watch...should the trading band get narrower, the chances of an upside would be imminent. You would be getting in high, but still a pretty decent ride left on it.

Quickly on to FINPIPE, as I track this:
Basically the company has strong fundaments, though the last quarterly results were not found too encouraging. This is the reason this counter has been languishing despite being a leading player.
The breakout was long coming, and I see this entering the triple figure mark in the next several weeks if not earlier..
Yes, a good investment for the mid term, but do go back to the s/l levels posted yesterday.
Keep an eye on IDBI and IPCL too at the current prices. Have a good upside coming up.

Infotech, you may look to 450 first. 500 may not be ruled out thereafter.
Your entry is great, and perhaps you may average out at some decline if you wish to accumulate?

1) Is this time to buy some value stock like ITC, Deepak Fert or should wait for some more correction. I already bought ITC and DeepakFert but want to buy more.
2) Is there any log of discussion for Ashok layland, I am holding it @27.5 for more than 1 month and its floating near by. Does it deserve a hold or exit.
3) Centurian bank...what is its future from both short and long term
