When it clear 229, and as it passes 236, you could consider averaging if you are up to it. Will have to hold for a while for the upward rally to commence after it has been consolidating at 245-250 recently.

Hi Roneeth,
Had suggested taking Satnam on the climb at 103. Wonder where you took it.
All the scrips have gone and plonked themselves behind their breakout levels for now. Satnam's was at 98, and will meet some resistance at 103 off.
They'll all come back...but will have to wait and watch.

A really good buy would be GujNRECoke if it manages to hold above 135, if anyone is interested. We're all aware of the risk in this kind of fall, but this one should hold well.

i have a question...although it isnt relevant here i need to know abt it urgently and since this is a very active thread i'm posting it here..

i have sold some shares short on margin today in the morning with my icicidirect online account. normally, they run the end of the day settlement at 2:30, but today apparently they forgot to do that, and when i checked at 3:30, it showed that these positions are still open!!!!!
what'll happen in such a case??

Hi flyingkolours...obviously your order did not get through? There's some confusion here. It's also likely that the shares would go in auction, and if so, since the market fell, you may not take a hit at all. Best would be to check with icicidirect.

Same thing happened with me twice.
1) Once they sold the shares offline next day.
2) Recently they bought the shares and added in my portfolio (without my permission).
