I believe that is a good pick Amit, Nice one
Hi Supra...thanks.
Yes indeed, being aware of your strength on fundamentals, Nagarjuna Cunstruction is a great counter with a strong growth story and order book.
My call for a break above 252 with stop at 240 is purely a technical call for an onward rally.
Thanks and regards.

Hi Roneeth...Finolex is rallying again at 85. If you still have it hold for now for a close above 87. Will travel further then.
Regards.
hi there,

long time..need ur views on sm of my holdings..

1) cummins india (cmp ~165)...has been there for sm time ..is it better to hold or to book prifts and then again buy at lower levels

2)welspun india.dont quite know wht is wrong wit the stock...its a comp wit fantastic growth prospects....quoting at 112 odd at a 12mth trailing PE of 112.
hv made a foray into retail as well..whts ur call on this stock

3)am holding on to mold tek - cmp 51 and international travel house - cmp 173 as well..guess ppl can buy into these 2 . Mold tek is goin into Legal KPO..profts would gallop in the comin few quarters.
ITH is a ITC grp stock and doing very well in the travel tourism industry...

Hi Karthik/ Amit/ Seniors,

I am planning to invest in Gammon India considering a 6 month to 1 year time frame. Are the current levels good to buy?

Thanks,
Kool.
Hi Kool...Gammon has a tendency to lie dorment with low volumes for longish spells. This can also be seen as a time when smart money quietly accumulates a counter. When the move comes, it's usually quite powerful.
One factor in the broad construction sector is where cement and steel companies register profits on quarter on quarter basis, the civil construction companies take longer as the gestation periods for major construction projects is long and cash outflow remains a factor to tackle. Income comes in big but takes longer to reflect in the results. Past record and a good order book are the main indicators for fundamentals at any given time for such companies.
Gammon scores well and is a sound counter for mid to long term.
Technically a close above 405 and sustained here would be an early indication of an onward move, and will be confirmed crossing 417. 429-435 is resistance and past this a clear run.
Support at 390-395 and further at 383-388. Stop at 376.
Regards.

Amit/ Saint,

Orient Paper (ICICI code - ORIPAP) is looking good at present.

I entered at 158 a month back and CMP is 206. Target technically is near 300. Just plz have a look and post your views. I believe we can make decent at this counter.

cheers,

Hi Gaurav...after the pullback on lower volume, Cummins is making a comeback today. I'd hold it for a better price for sure. It's not really your trading counter but an investment to hold. Another few weeks would bring in the 3rd quarter results so it makes sense to hold further. Wait for a close above 174 to see 177-182-186.
There was some news on Welspun? It's doing well today and the important levels are 112-108 as immediate supports with 105 as stoploss. It's a hold for sure and trail stop it up.
I've no info on the other counters.
Regards.

Hi NK...nice to see you back.
As I've not been looking into this thread too much for a while I'm sorry I didn't attend to your post. Saint has answered it so that's great.
All the very best with the new job and look forward to your posts again.
Bye for now.

Hi all

I am new here and in world of trading. These forums are great.

I have some questions regarding candle stick chartings specially some patterns which i observed in some stocks (I am very new to this field so kindly excuse me...)To whome should i ask ?I am using Fcharts, which i come to know from traderji.com itself.

Regarding stock...
What is happening to UCOBANK ? Even after many good news stock is stuck at 25. What are its chances of moving up... rather why its not moving up.

Thanks & Regards

Hi omkarck....sorry for the delay but since I have not been tracking this thread for a while I tend to miss posts here.
You may want to check with Saint at his thread New Intermed Uptrend!! for your doubts on candlestick charting. He had recently explained this.
For your query on UcoBank, here is the link to Karthik's analysis from this morning at his thread Doubt Relief:
