& not going to tell in open forum how much bread & butter I can buy from that.

uasish TELLS US HOW MUCH HE EARNS...WE ARE ALL SITTING HERE TO KNOW HOW MUCH YOU EARN.....PLS TELL UNCLE.

May it be you didn't stretched enough while studying charts (now don't count how much u spent bucks or years for that), but again why should u think about this if u are doing good now.

PLS REFER TO SOME WORKS OF BULWOSKY.....
AND CARE TO POST SOME BACKTESTED RESULTS FROM YOUR SOFTWARE.....FROM INTRADAY DATA....FOR DAY TRADING.
NOW SIR,I STILL CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ARE ADVISING ME THAT I "SHOULD MEET PROFESSIONAL TRADERS,WHO USE CHART PATTERNS TO TRADE"....
WHERE I COMPLAINED ABOUT TRADING CHART PATTERNS? DID I?
RATHER,I TOLD,I 'DON'T TRADE AND BELIEVE' IN CHART PATTERNS AND I WANT TO QUESTION THE IDEAS WHICH IS TAKEN BY THE PUBLIC TO WORK.WHY? BCZ BY QUESTIONING ONE KNOWS THE PITFALLS AND ADVANTAGES OF ANYTHING.
MY DECISION:CHART PATTERNS DO WORK,BUT THERE MAY BE COINCIDENCE OF SOMETHING ELSE WITH THESE FORMATIONS OF PATTERNS WHICH MAKE THOSE TRADES TO BE SUCCESSFUL.CAN'T TAKE A DECISION BCZ IT IS FOLLOWED BY MANY....

I HAVE BECOME A PROFESSIONAL TRADER AFTER MUCH READINGS AND BACKTESTINGS OF IDEAS.IN THIS PROCESS I HAVE GIVEN HOURS TO LEARN.MORE THAN ANYTHING,I KNOW MANY WAYS 'NOT' TO MAKE CONSISTENT MONEY IN THE MARKETS.
I PAY RS.4000/- APPROXIMATELY PER MONTH TO MY DATA VENDOR,NOT TO CONTINUE THE SAME OLD PROCESSES OF LOOSING MONEY.I DON'T SAY CHART PATTERNS ARE WAYS TO LOOSE MONEY,BUT THERE ARE BETTER WAYS TO MAKE MONEY.
AND ABOUT MEETING THE PROFESSIONAL TRADERS...WELL I AM A STUDENT OF SUCH TWO RARE CREATURES....
BREAD AND BUTTER.....BELIEVE ME...MOST PROFESSIONAL TRADERS ALSO DON'T EARN THAT MUCH FROM THEIR TRADING,WHICH CAN GIVE MORE THAN A BREAD AND PIECE OF BUTTER....

What you say is very normal & obvious.

But as they say, "it's not common to be normal".

Here comes human psychology.

When you trade (without giving calls), feeling undercurrent, you just easily jump to contra positions without hesitating. Like fish in water.

But if you give calls, pressure to show performance don't allow you maneuver coolly. also ego is there.

Vice versa

If you give calls, for other people's money you again do it coolly.
success ratio increases.
When u trade with it, psychology enters with it's favourite tools, hope greed fear etc.

This is universally accepted truth. Thus highly paid professional analysts do not trade.



Please check if you think or if you know.
Please try n understand, You can say I know only after seeing there trading accounts personally (or asking them a rude {considered} question, how much you earned this month ? {How are you doing / Are you successful ? wont do} ) & nothing less will do.

& if it's true & they are doing it consistently, I must say they are great people. seriously.

Omkar, I only 'think' ...I would have no way of knowing it!!!!
I agree with you about the psychology part in giving and trading the calls, but there are people who probably have overcome this and are doing it successfully or atleast thats what they project!!!!
