today Market opened flat. Both Sensex & Nifty started at declining mode. The Sensex fell 115.60 points to 21,055.81, and the Nifty declined 31.45 points to 6,276.45 nifty touched a high of 6326.60 and a low of 6280.25.

The BSE Sensex jumped 91 points or 0.44 per cent to 20,751.08 while the NSE Nifty rose 27.30 points or 0.44 per cent to 6,182 in the first few minutes of trading.

In the opening session, Tata Motors and ICICI Bank were the top gainers among the Sensex 30 while HDFC Bank and Coal India were the only losers.

Today market started with the positivity. Sensex and nifty both opened in a positive note with higher points.Nifty gained 5.10 points at 6171.75 and sensex rose 47.94 points 20756.56.Technology stocks continued their positive momentum with wipro 2.08%, Rolta 5.28%, infosys 0.61%, polaris tech 4.52%, Mphasis 2.19%, Mindtree 4.40, Tech mahindra 3%.

The Sensex is up by around 94.48 points at 21174.20, and the Nifty is up 32.05 points at 6306.30. About 1424 shares have advanced, 775 shares declined, and 138 shares are unchanged. Hindalco , BHEL , ONGC , Axis Bank and Hero Moto are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the top losers are Infosys , Tata Power , HDFC , M&M and TCS .

The BSE Sensex was down 43.82 points or 0.22 per cent at 21,050.89 at 3.00 p.m. local time and the NSE Nifty was down 14.60 points or 0.23 per cent at 6,270.50.

Bajaj Auto, BHEL., L&T, Dr Reddy's and NTPC were the top five Sensex gainers, while the top five losers were Tata Power, SSLT, Wipro, Hindalco and HDFC.

The Sensex and the Nifty were trading up by around 0.2% due to covering-up of pending short positions in view of expiry of December month FUTURE & OPTION contracts.

At 1.15 P.m., the 30-share BSE index Sensex was up 51.35 points or 0.24 per cent at 21,084.07 and the 50-share NSE index Nifty was up 14.25 points or 0.23 per cent at 6,282.65.
