SG, the violet line is drawn from the bottom of a candle to the bottom of another candle. The orange line starts from the top of its candle.. maybe reaching another top ??

and how is the starting candle selected for drawing the line ? The violet line, of course, starts at a pivot low

pls tell me if my interpretation is right...


u have drawn a line from a pivot low/high passing through a sharp move (in these cases the two gap ups) and extended it upwards.. the point at which the line passes through the sharp move is the mid point... the target candle/value is achieved by extending the line for as many candles (from the mid point) as there are from the start of the line to the mid-point...

I have to look for a point... on the chart and draw the line to the point... and then extend it 'X' distance.... to project.... what can happen in the next several bars....!!!

Point I need to select through which this projection line will pass through...is by eyeballing the chart to look for some sort of Symmetry on either side of the Point....!!!

Will give detailed explanations in the TTM thread... once the new computer is up and running...which is still several days away... from being completed... mainly because of tons of data needs to be updated....!!!

Haven't forgotten about your portfolio... will speak to you about it on Monday...!!!

hmmm... so finding the point comes first and the lines later...


and the portfolio can wait... im not going home until holi... nothing can be done before that as my father is busy with work... by the second week of march ill sort all the papers out, my father says he has shares of a few more companies and also he had multiple demat accounts... so i dont know what is where actually...

on a serious note, are you building any heavy duty machine with regards to the time taken to come up with one

Symmetry, Geometry..... No Lost dimensions...!!!.... Just going back to basics..... Thanks to Forex & Commodities trading on the International Markets......where I do have the charts in front of me...and the ever so inquisitive mind does detect at times things which has its good & the bad....Hopefully this will turn out to be the Good.....Before you quip back about ...'Ugly' ..... Just check my Avatar for that.....

Nothing heavy duty as such..... still in the process of breaking things down to smaller units to make it easily digestible......Agreed....should not have taken this long.... but for some worldly duties..... that couldn't be ignored....!!!

As soon as it is done..... will try and deliver it through...... Telemetry...!!!
