looking to this, any index options buy advised ""Technically speaking: Last week was one more record week for the market as the indices moved up to newer levels 5110/17196. However, the breadth was not satisfactory may be due long weekend. In the last week the Nifty fell short
just by 40 points to reach the target level of 5150 (17300) however, we have seen completion of many stock specific targets.
At the beginning of the current week the market may open gap down with a negative bias as the world indices fell over 3% on Friday. Here the important point to note is whether the marker can fill the gap down opening of Monday during the day or during the week. If it fails to fill the bearish gap then it may be the first sign of major weakness in the market and may be alarming signal for long traders. As we mentioned in our previous report we can not forget that the market has already completed its sideways activity and currently is entered into trending mode on either side. Traders have to
trade or should be ready to trade on both the sides to make good money on trading activity especially on indices (Nifty, Sensex CNXIT and Bank Nifty).
For the week again the level of 5150/17300 and 5060/17070 may act as a major hurdle for the market on the higher side. Sustenance of the market below 5035/16940 will keep the sentiment weak and in that case the level of 4980/16770 and 4940/16600 are not ruled out. Any likely close below the level 4900/16490 will disturb the current medium term uptrend and in that case the correction may get extend by time and points. Long traders should be cautious below 4900/16490 on closing basis."
