Stock FUTURES To Keep A Close Eye On

Isn't the present scenario almost as same as that of January 2008..... I didn't witness the markets then but have a look at the charts....

We had a very good bullish run in Dec 2007.... We have just had a very good bullish run in Jan-Feb 2012....

Markets became volatile in Jan 2008 before it started hitting circuits..... It started giving wild swings on intraday basis..... And today, Nifty has given a wild-wild swing.... If it becomes the order of the day for the next 2-3 days, then it would completely resemble Jan 2008....

Then, the aftermath..... Does anyone want me to give a comparison..... I would oblige them, but first let that happen.....

People who witnessed the crash of 2008... please give your views.... :)
2nd such instance in recent memory....

I never miss an opportunity to talk about circuits..... :D
3rd such instance in recent memory.... Okay we didn't have a wild move today, but if we combine yesterday's 2% up and today's 3% down... it does represent a wild move....

Are we getting closer to circuits.... :D

Was about to leave the terminal around 2.30pm... But markets didn't allow me to leave.... :p
4th such instance.... We also had a couple of such instances in between.... But I missed the opportunity to talk about circuits as was more engaged with my exams..... Now that they are over.... I am back on my talk on circuits.... :D

Adi bhai, due to my high res screen this is the end section of LIC day chart with 'HL magic' you wanted to see. You can see now how PA still obeys the blue & oragne dotted HLs that I drew on Feb 21. Believe me, on weekly the candles behave like army jawans within the HLs! :)

BTW, instead of sending it to you privately by mail, I thought it would be best if I displayed it on SG's thread. This will not only help Tomjerry to understand better what I meant by visual PA and S&R, but also for many guys here who are positional on LIC. I thought it might help them to see its course from different perspective. Thus, TLs I drew today especially for that purpose.
Now that you are talking about Horizontal Lines and I have some company.... Let me also revive the old thread that I had started on Horizontal S&Rs..... Give me some time, would soon start posting over there once again.... :)

When you first metioned HLs on kamlesh's thread, I thought the same: now I have some company! :)

Do revive that thread this time, Adi. Last time you said you would, but didn't do it. It would be nice to have it buzzing with activity. :)

My way of trading...this applies STRICTLY to my funda of trading/trades....ok ? Point noted correctly...good! :thumb:

Sometimes catch Katrina Kaif(blue-chip)....sometimes Scarlett Johannson(mid-cap! NOT mad-cap ok!).....and sometimes catch DAMN-UGLY-weirdos like Poonam Pandey/Mallika Sherawat and offset losses against profits :D Simple and thats's the secret of my success though :thumb:

Here is an alternate view of LIC the way I have been Trading....!!!

Fine.. can you please explain the horizontal lines and yellow dotted circles ?? Those are the pivots, of course. And the 50MA is acting as the support.

Edit : Maybe we need to draw a "minus" 50MA of some sort to make an envelope, maybe define the targets/profit booking points.

Hi TP,

Those red dotted lines marked were Key tops made earlier....therefore it would always react from those points.....!!!

Apart from 3 circled supports marked for 50-EMA there are those candles marked of which only 3, if I remember correctly have remained below the 50-EMA.....thus 50-EMA becomes a magnetic line where the candle will go back up.... as regards to creating an envelope of the 50-EMA...it is a personal opinion borne out from many years of trading.....to use the Bollinger Band instead...!!!
