That is all the focus should be.
I hope, bro, I didn't hurt your feelings. Nor I intended to belittle your belief in
'Focus'. But forgive me if disect what you just wrote - sentence by sentence. We have all the time till Sunday evening to be 'not traders'
First, the
Focus thing:
What I understand by your affinity towards this 'Focus' thing is, if we lose money during the trade that'd mean we are out of focus. If we book profit, means we are focused. That is, profit and loss are the measure of this thing called focus. Right? Wow... Wish life were that simple!
Understand this: None of us on this earth know anything about/of this mental phenomenon that is widely known as 'focus'. Leave aside the presumption that we could control, or develop, it for a particular end. That is, there is no methodology to make a successful trader out of a randomly chosen person. Otherwise, you would have Warren Buffet or George Soros by the dozens. Why, even Mr.
SavantGarde would stand in a long queue to become the moderator then!
Some people have this 'focus', some don't. Period.
This focus thing that we harp on itself is a mumbo-jumbo peddled by the modern day hippies, by the likes of ponytailed Aridham Chaudharys and the nincompoops that are invited on Oprah show. And we, the gullible people, get mesmarised by their high-sounding claims ringing with words like 'scientifically proven' and 'psychological tests'. Baba Ramdev does the same, and we all start pinching our noses in the morning!
How do I know? Because once I was a part of the system that specialised in screwing-up people's minds for a fistful of dollars.
Second,
'I am here to make money':
Am I? How do you know this for sure? Is it because I am a member of Traderji? If yes, then you have just broken the limits of Inductive Thinking. It is like saying, every pilot who flies the airplane, does it for the salary and the perks. Then why would John Travolta, a great actor and a human being, go on to become a certified pilot of Boing 747? Go figure.
Third,
This thread gives you the good stocks.
Does it? If yes, then the next two sentences lose their meaning. If no, then this sentence becomes meaningless. Take your pick.
The last two sentences of the paragraph.
Now we are talking sense, brother.:clapping:
Finally the last two lines:
NO, I don't leave things on the people who are 'part of the system'.
About starting my own thread, I'll let you know.
By the way, if the following information helps you in anyway I would be glad:
I started trading on 21st Oct of this year with just 50k in the kitty. Till todate I have more than doubled it. One-fourth of my profit is allocated for the charity on behalf of all the help I got from wise people on TraderJi and other useful sites.
Now you must be wondering how did I do that. Well, I didn't focus, I didn't short-sell on Diwali either. I just listened to Miles Davis, Mozart and Mangeshkar sisters while having Scotch in the evenings, and started everyday as a new born.
You have a good time, brother. May you be happy always
