Savant ji, should we buy IFCI at 79 with strict S/L? It is up by over 2% today and as you said yesterday that it could be due to the banking license. Thanks.
Using this banking license bogey you can lose as much money as you want. This talk has been going on for the last 3 months. No point in this quasi fundamental news, go strictly by the charts.

Rahul,

Moreover... I do not understand why would you want to trade in WIPRO.... did you see their results.... or do you have a few khokas and doesn't matter where you poke your finger.....

Get your Stock selection....in order before you trade

Hi SG,

on lighter note.... Got into WIPRO as Aziz Premji was invited for Dinner with Obama....

Jokes apart....

Yet I do not have any professional charting software & I am using Google finance hence I have to scan the stocks manually... So selected only 10stocks.
Still I am learning.... I am using them to develop my skills on Future...

So selected 10 stocks are from different sectors... Wipro, Tata steel, IDFC, DLF, NTPC, Reliance, L&T, SAIL,Mahindra & NIFTY.
At a time I deal with only one stock & Nifty.

I just applied criteria to select stock from large cap & have spread in different sector... Do let me know if need to drop any more stocks from this list ( Anyway you have already told to drop Wipro)

I have squared of position on WIPRO by booking loss at 435 & taken position in Bajaj hindustan @139.85 as per your suggestion.

Hi Rahul,

You could have taken a position in WIPRO if Premji had asked you to accompany him.....:)

Anyways drop everything from your list except TATASTEEL

It is a list for an Investor not a Futures Trader....That is what is wrong with the list....

For FUTURES ...

IFCI
Suzlon
Unitech
Tisco
SBI
DLF

are some stocks which move fast ... in and out .. in with the dings and out with the dongs should be the strategy imo ... high beta stocks

Warning: Futures trading can be injurious to health if u are not fast enuf .. and esp if trading with Yahoo/Google spot charts.

Savant Sir ,
Please let me help to clear my doubt about Power Grid FPO(not about whether it is good or bad).
Currently it is trading around 102 and FPO price is at 90.

Why price is going up when FPO price is set at 90 . Knowing that there might be supply at lower level , who get shares in FPO might want to sell , once FPO is allocated.

Thanks

There is nothing to it ....Spot market is being ramped up by Lead managers to make the FPO attractive....That's all

....and for ramping up they will be handsomely compensated.... for any losses incurred + extra malai
