What i have learnt is don`t let ur trades be run by emotion.If entry is bad and trade goes against u admit ur wrong and get out.This is hardest for all.

If someone is disciplined he will make money even 1 moment of indiscipline and the trader will wipe off his ledger and work hard for 10 days after that just to breakeven.

Happened with me many times for example.1st december made 8k in banknifty shud have then said bye bye market or put on a defensive guard (Iron condor being my choice).

But i lost discipline entered next day with va va vroom approach no stop losses lost 9k.Back to square 1.

Define ur stop losses at start of day and abide by them.When trade goes against u don`t start praying as there will be 2 ppl who are praying just as hard so A/D ratio is against u.

Anant Bhai,

Y is the Stoploss of GEOJITBNPP so low when the target is only 51.75.

Target = (2*H - SL) RIGHT?

Thanks

You mean the AFL which saves the Excel file on pc? Developed by you and Ananath. My problem is there so much to learn here and I dont have enough time to go through everything. The strategies and all. Right now I m working at an Asset Management Firm in the UK and we use mostly fundamentals and very little exposure to Indian markets. But I love investing in Indian market although very recent as I have just started working before that I was just guiding my dad to invest. SO the tough part is to wake up at 430 in the morning and stay awake till 10 pm once the US market shuts and then to go through all the tread and formulas is really difficult. But I guess i gotta take it slow. Has any one heard about Spread bet. I think with SG sir's Moving averages and other indicators there is lots of money to be made there and best part about it is that it is tax free. I think instead of buying food and cleaning house on weekends I gotta absorb this forum properly. And learn more about technical as in Uni I was just taught fundamentals and other things which work fine over long run but not for us Swing traders or Going with the flow traders. But I still appreciate the hard work put by SG sir its commendable. Although haven't been actively involved in any of the Saint's sir thread but watched his video on rapidshare about pivots on traderji meet. Slightly more than 2 weeks following this forum and I m learning a lot. THanks once again to all the seniors and mentors on TJ.

Sir,

can I have the link of the Trading Organizer excel link to download the same

sorry to trouble you

regards
