good day

hope the markets recover and we see the 22k mark soon....my portfolio is 15% down. Have decided not to take a look at my portfolio till i see the 22k mark ...in other words forget that i have invested in stocks for a while.......i am a Rakesh jhunjhun's fan...!

Hi Friends,
After 14th.may the EOD data is not downloading through GetBhavcopy for WELGUJ. May be it's due to name change Amibroker is not updating for the same.
Can Anyone give any solution.....????

The SYMBOL for WELGUJ has changed due to the change in company name. The new Symbol is WELCORP. You can download data for the new symbol and merge the earlier data of WELGUJ with WELCORP.

My query is how can I download data for a new symbol and merge it with other so that AB can display them correctly ?

At first the U S, then the EU, Dubai, then again Greece.Now it will be the turn of China and after that India to have their part of role to play to fell the markets.5000.....4800 and 4300 are the levels to be watched for the medium term.This is what i personally feel.The market on 11.05.2010 went up by 550points in BSE.But, FII &DIIs bought only 20cr each.Then whose euphoria drove the market by 550 points?

The fall has started . FIIs are selling huge lots.Since Jan2010 they bought about 6000cr and sold off nearly 6100cr.Any upside may be only to lure people to enter.

What will they do to all the money they take back? Its worthless .. its being printed in a want fashion ... at least here they will be able to multiply it ...

Its just a temp phase .. let $ cross 47.5 and see the dolls returning back to India for some depreciation again !!!

It depends on the charting software you use and the source of your data. If you are using AmiBroker and downloading data from BhavCopy then Ami will read automatically the data for WELCORP and keep it in the new symbol with the name WELCORP. Now open the chart of WELCORP in Ami. In 'Symbol' manu on the top menu bar select "Merge". You will get a dialog box with the name WELCORP already filled in and another field 'merge with' where you have to fill the old name 'WELGUJ'. The other options are also there: Overwrite Duplicate, Delete after merge etc. Tick the overwrite Duplicate option. For 'Delete after merge' option you may uncheck the option so that the old data is still there after merging so that you can still use it in case something goes wrong during merge operation. Once the merging is successful you can delete the old symbol WELGUJ from the database.

I think after the gradual fall in global markets, perhaps U S market could be the the first to rise?

Hello ,

Can any one give idea, how many days it take for a share to get credited into demat account.

Actually I bought 10 shares of RIL on friday,but till now they hav not been credited to my demat account and the price is back to the price i bought on friday

plz let me knw.
