neways .. let the thread flow ...

my post was not to make you feel miserable or whatever ... but a point to SG

And the 'I told you so' would also have been understood by SG as to why I wrote it :D

as said earlier .. neways .. let the thread flow ....

:)

I think knowledge can make person either arrogant (Hitler) or Humble( Gandhiji) both are powerful; you have to choose your pick. You really have to make smart choice... my friend. This was not intended to anyone. I like this forum for the profound experience of learning opportunity this very platform provides. This is quite an unprecedented though sometimes we get carried away to prove our intellectual chauvinism.

SM, no worries . I thought I missed some "gyan" in between lines. :)

Hi Viks,

Extremely sorry for missing yours & Metry's Post for replies....

Many in your portfolio....will not see your entry price even if Sensex touches 25k

Wish you had brought it to my notice 6 months earlier.....

Anyways, there are couple of alternatives

a) Complete churn of the portfolio (if you do not have any additional capital available for investing)

b) To actively trade certain quantities at major resistance & suport levels to bring your entry prices down

c) if additional capital is available....to deploy into new scrips & trade the existing portfolio as suggested at point (b)

Let me know what you decide...

Dear Savant Ji,
Normally I buy stocks couple of times a year and then sleep over my stocks. I have few stocks lying in my portfolio for 2-3 years and are still in loss.

Brigade Enterp : bought at (397) cmp:140
Omaxe: bought at (295) cmp: 135
Reliance Infra: bought at (1660) cmp : 1030
Birla Power Sol: bought at (4.20) cmp: 2.10
Praj Industries : bought at (161) cmp: 77.60
Powersoft Glob: bought at (22.00) cmp: 20.00

Pls advice which of these stocks I should rid off (or maybe all of them) and what would be a good stock to put this money in. These stocks appear to be dud stocks as no rally has been able to move them into green for me.
I am in no hurry to make money out of my stocks and can wait for 2-3 years but don't want to keep sitting on my losses when there are better managed companies.

Thanks in Advance, Viks
