Watching the DOW at time of the night makes me wonder if these stocks ran becos SM was going to beat down Dow Cow today , so they picked up defensives today in big numbers to cater for a possible down day in our markets tommorow ??

Mutaza , i trust u exited ur Unitech 90CA today at opening / close ...

I am also very keen to see that with a possible downside in the index how many players jump into Tata Motors move up tommorow. This last thought courtsey SG .

.. BUT why have these stocks run up and that too in 1 day ... defensive sector ...

who is buying these defensive stocks .. why ... prelude to a time to come (even for a short time frame) or is it re-rating in the sector ?

What makes you think Unitech should fall ?

Also a 60 pt fall in the Nasdaq cannot make our markets go kaput ...
And I'm sure BIG BOSS has mentioned many a times ...

And yes ... I never check Dow nor do I know the names of any of our Asian Counterparts (i.e. Indexes) ... its just Nifty Spot analysis mostly ...

Of course, FnO is very limited trades from my end so I do not need to check here and there for possible reactions to our index. Also even if u saw the DowCow at 200 plus or minus at 12.30am, how can u change your positions taken 8 hrs day earlier in the day? So is it any use watching DowCow
