Bro, awesome article... Thanks a lot for sharing...

What I have been doing is taking action first and thinking later... especially futures trading has been a costly mistake for me. What Raunak sir said was true... I was trying to run before I learnt to walk.

But I will be resilient.

Thanks for this great article...

Cheers!

mistake himself for a financial genius.

Stock Analyst The twat who just downgraded your favourite share.

Momentum Investing The fine art of buying high and selling low.

Value Investing The art of buying low and selling lower .

Long-Term Investing The short-term trade that kept going down.

Head and Shoulders Formation That bloody dandruff is back.

Breakdown What youll have when you hold onto one loser too many.

Profits What you used to make before you started share trading.

Moving Averages Youll be moved all right, as they keep going down.

Regards,

Thank, bro, for giving me a smiling start of the day! May I add:

Bear Market: The day you sell your stock.

Dear SG sir ,
I have sold 30 % ABG shipyard shares as per ur recommendations @ 485. I am holding the sugar shares as u recommended. I have a question which i request you to guide me . I am 32 yrs, Am a doctor. I am accumulating RIL shares for long term purpose (say 10 yrs+) .I buy them as and when they hit lows and if i hv money. I ve 35 till now with Avg price of 990rs/- Now
1) Is this a right strategy? i am doing this to get good returns as i ll need money in future for occupational purpose.
2) If u think it is a good way then do u think RIL is the best bet ? or can u suggest me some shares i can buy and forget for next ten years.

For ur info , i am investing in SIP and gold also ( to guarantee safe returns as my risk appetite is medium ) . But i am still a student and will be completing my Nephrology speciality by next March and u know how much Student doctors are paid . It does help when ur wife also earns .
I ll be really glad if u cud guide me .

Dear SG,

What should be the exit point for the short position in nifty 6300PE @ 227 taken on Friday? Shall I exit if market goes over 6150 or wait more? I don't want to wait till expiry after watching the last month's yo-yo:D...

Hi PGDIMES,

If on Intraday it goes to levels of 6148-6174, then you square up and look for getting back....

By expiry one should see the price Between 60-95

Sir

Today i have book profit:thumb: and continue... to hold the balance

I got 87 Rpower shares in my portfolio insted of rnrl

- Metry

Hi Metry,

If you haven't done anything with your DELTA holding... as per my earlier reply....here is another thing.....

In next 7 trading sessions... book profit on just the quantity of shares whereby you bring home the capital invested... and let the balance holding remain....

Dear Mr SavantGarde,

I have been reading your posts over many weeks and finally gathered the courage to post here.

Recently, my father passed away unexpectedly leaving only me any my mother. I am currently a student. At the moment, we have enough to survive on for 1 year or so. We have some extra money lying around of around 4-5Lakhs that we can invest in stock market. We are thinking that perhaps this could give us decent returns in 1 year and can use it after 1 year for expenses...

Can you please suggest some stocks that I can invest it for 8-12 months? I don't have time to trade everyday since I am a student. Currently, we are not invested in anything.

After reading your posts over many weeks and recommendation from broker, I have narrowed down the list to the following:

Reliance
HDFCBANK
ICICI Bank
RECltd
powergrid
Dabur
hanung
EXIDEIND
IGL
HAVELLS
Deltacorp

I am not sure of the above. I don't really trust these brokers reading some of the experience of members here. Please give your advice when it is suitable for you. Thank you.

Amit

My apologies, I think I accidentally chose my email as my ID here at Traderji. I am not able to change it. Please do so. Sorry for the error.
