Thanks, Got it!

By the way, Mr. SG, the above words gave me an idea to compile all your posts (dots/points included, of course!;) ) in a sort of booklet and name it:

Sir,

Was trying to figure out nuances of Co-operative thingy. Pardon my ignorance but This term has several connotations including, cooperative society/bank or credit coopertaive..what exactly are we talking about...

Leg-work thing is quite complicated and will demand good enough efforts from people who have some idea about it or from the ones willing to volunteer for the cause...perhaps it would be great to get serious participation from serious people about the concept..I mean you have floated an idea and now its upon the rest of us to make it happen and not ignore it as pre-booze freaky friday concept...

My immediate reaction was of a feel-good factor about the idea..Ad says..an idea can change your life..:p...so fellow friends..pour in whatever comes out from your left side of the brain..
If and If Savantji thinks that as a UNIT we can achive the GOAL which was SUDDENLY disclosed by Mr. Savantji.

See Bro..as far as I think..An Idea is perhaps the single most important thing now a days...It would be rather too ambitious to expect SG Sir to do everything..floating an idea..do the leg work..trade on behalf of we seekers and what not! My point here is..he has given us here something to ponder over..it may work and it can never materialize as well considering hell lot of impediments the likes of which will include..seriousness of the participants..leg-work...connectivity..funds..meeting of minds..mutual trust and plenty of other factors...but all that I am seeking is.. deliberation/inputs...even after that if it doesnt work out..fine..but at least..we wouldnt complain about a lost opportunity...

perhaps I am being too keen for it..but the notion of doing/knowing/learning something totally new..somehting like this..appeals me...And lest I forget..that's just me..!

I understand what you want to say. But slow down, brother Talisman, if you can.

Savant Sir,

Most western stock markets are plagued by what they call "High Speed Computerized Trading" which is done by major players there. Is it legal in India?

Wall Street's secret advantage: High-speed trading

What is high-speed trading?

It’s Wall Street’s winning edge. By harnessing massive computer power to buy and sell stocks in the blink of an eye, high-speed traders leverage tiny changes in value to make huge profits. The technique was pioneered in the early years of this decade by a hedge fund that hired astrophysicists, mathematicians, and statisticians to devise electronic trading programs. Other firms, including Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, quickly followed suit. Few outside the securities industry knew much about the practice until computer glitches helped cause the Dow to plummet 600 points in 15 minutes in May. But high-speed trading—also called high-frequency trading—now accounts for up to 70 percent of all trading in shares listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Co-operative trading fund is an awesome idea. I hope some member with the right connections can propel this idea forward. :)

Cheers!
