Mr. SG

A few posts ago, you commented on Mr. Rajputz chart, saying, the current Market fall would be arrested at 5400 due cluster formation. I was wondering, how can one relate to the proportionality between the cluster weight and probability of support.

Please enlighen me on that.
Thanks

This thread... which is also sometimes referred to as Mother Thread... was where I started posting....Triggers....then came a time....when the Triggers were getting buried....by a good 4-5 pages in a single day....that is when Chapter-II was started...although friends & visitors to Chapter-II were instructed to post any query in the mother thread....

Although several queries do creep in there...and once the query is replied and acknowledged I use my moderator privilege to move those Posts to the mother thread....& some important replies are left untouched....in Chapter-II

There are 2 different types of triggers that I would post... one I simply call it BUYHOLD strategy....... since the triggers happened... from February 2009 onwards.... most if not all are far above their trigger price... last time I updated the closing price was a couple of months back....& doesn't really require updating on a daily basis....if with current downside in the markets... there would be No sell triggers from tha B.HOLD list.....

Second is based on 20/50 DMA (Day Moving Average) Where Quantity of Shares, S/L, Entry Price & First Target Price is all mentioned against each Triggers......After the Initial Trigger Uma would takeover daily update of Prices, S/L & Targets Reached.. If the First Target was reached.... then I would look into the scrip....to see if there is some more room for it to go up...& accordingly would give the Next Target.....

I haven't updated the 20/50 for several...months...but one can expect this to change from December... onwards....where Triggers would start by Dozens...if not more....

Anant's Trigger based on Single MA is very similar to 20/50...

But it is for active traders... & not for somebody who cannot devote atleast 10-15 minutes everyday......

More on...something that you asked....will try & do it by evening... provided you haven't fainted already....reading the extended monologue...above...:)

Would you believe, the last post took 10 minutes to upload - exactly!

Mr. Talisman, and also, Mr. 'Even Me' SG.

Now about that music thing:

Would you please both list-out five of your favourite Instrumental Albums and Five of your favourite writers? Count yourself out if that included any who remotely reminded me of the likes of Naipaul, Salman Rushdie, Shobha De or Chetan Bhagat. :)
My favorite authors are...

1. Tom Clancy - Awesome writer. Have read 3 of his novels from the Space Odessey series.
2. Dan Brown - Another brilliant person. Have read all 4 books he has written.
3. Orson Scott Card - Have read "Ender's Game". Love the book. Will buy more from the Ender series once my finances come back in order...
4. Dale Carnegie - One book that has influenced and changed my life was "How to Win Friends and Influence People". Still my favorite.
5. Mario Puzo - The writer who wrote "The Godfather series". I have only read one book, the first one, it was awesome... :)

My favorite standup comedian - George Carlin
My favorite politician - Ron Paul
My favorite band - Linkin Park

Cheers!

Good choice, Mr GauharJK!

Tom clancy, great. Very detailed, and professional about the subjects he wrote on. Watch three movies based on his books: The hunt for Red october, And Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) series of Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger.

You know the Ender's game was written as a short story!
Card's Ender's Shadow and Speaker for the dead, I have heard are also good. ( didn't read them either - yet :))

Mario Puzo: The Sicilians is more 'awesome'!

Dale Carngie...Ummm...still relevent - in a quaint way.

Dan Brown? Well the guy is but a British Chetan Bhagat!

George Calrin: Never had a chance see him. I will. I love standup comedies. (I lived in England, the home of standup comedy, remember?)

Ron Paul: Won't bother knowing politicians until they are dead, personally speaking.;)

Linkin Park: Gotta get that!:D

Good, you are on the list! Congratulations!

Neetu ,
Anant Sir could have been the best person to reply .
I am replying to your post considering two things 1st : Savant Sir is out of station till Wednesday 2nd : I follow Anant Sir's call closely .

I have not noticed such a deep (30%) stoploss in any of his buy call (Sorry If I missed any).
What you observed is not what you are thinking. I guess you are seeing a stock which has already rallied decently after his call. Please tell me ,what would be the logical stop loss once the particular stock rallies say 20-30% after his call? May be logically (according to Anant Sir's system) stop loss is same as he had given in initial call.
But if you follow his calls then you will notice "SELL Triggers". These triggers are not to short but sell triggers for those stocks which had buy triggers in past. In case of a decent profit, sell triggers will preserve your profit and sell trigger could be much above the stop loss price. So you need not to wait to hit your stop loss which is so deep.
Ex: See the stop loss and other details in calls for 19th Nov
http://www.traderji.com/equities/29292-stocks-keep-close-eye-chapter-ii.html#post489346

Please have look on TATACOFFEE under "sell triggers". You will notice that "sell trigger" has been given before it hit the stop loss. This is to preserve your profit.

If you are talking to enter a call which was given in past and has rallied decently then best strategy would be to let it cool down for some time and then decide. Otherwise there are calls on daily basis you can pick any you want.

Hope I did not confuse you more.
