Mr. GauharJK
Guess, this is my last post before I hit the bed.
I had been reading your posts of the last three days. God, you had held the fort alright in absence of Mr. SG!

I like your spirit, your courage to laugh on yourself - and your hairstyle in the photo of yours. It reminds of my own during school days!

If you don't mind, brother, may I say something about your post: Sadiq, you wanna be a successful day trader? Then you must do exactly the opposite of what I do. I guarantee you will make a lot of money?

Why don't you replace 'Sadiq' with 'GauharJK' in the above post? Thing may become OK.

If you can't do the above, my brother, then change your motto to this:

"I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of good sense comes to the mind of man."

Goodnight, brother
Hi Goofy brother,

I am trying to make the right decisions, but trades have a habit of going against me. I have seen so many stocks rise as I watch them, afraid to take action. But when I buy, they start falling. When I sell, they start rising again.

I am trying... I am trying... to do the right thing. But always get caught in the opposite side of trends... :D

Nimish,

I started writing something.... but then decided just to say.... that you will have even more on your plate for coming meals to devour....all that you have written in the past including the latest.....

You have a clear view, express it clearly.....please spare me of sitting on the fence...

Sir would appreciate it if you elaborate more or continue writing what you intended on! Many thanks.

Right decisions come to the one who is in right frame of mind.

Don't trade anymore. First change the frame.

How?

If you are lazy, you'd ask Mr. SG. If you are agile, as I know you are, you would ask yourself!

Mr. Talisman.
You are a nocturnal animal, I know! I am not! So here is what I say to an intelligent brother before I go to sleep.

I read your last post. Brilliant!

But if you believe in your written sentence: Corruption is what life is, then accept it as real as your breathing.

If you do that, almost all of your worries will dissolve in the cold air outside without a trace.

Think about it.

Goodnight
Hmm...I get the drift.

Thanks for liking the post. In Fact, for last few days, I was planning to blog on this theme of "corruption is in our blood/DNA" in South Asian culture/ SAARC Nations context but my fingers did not allow me. Nevermind..some other days..

About Corruption thing, Oh yes, I do believe in that and accept it. It's just that I consider myself of having high moral values and that always leads to a sort of internal conflict but I guess, that's holds true for everybody else. That conflict will continue till eternity and in a way, that's good and logical also.

Worries..umm..Yes, every once in a while they creep even in a hard-headed individual's psyche and I am not exception but for me, they are as rare as a 20% fall of LICHF. Whereas rest of the times, I manage to retain the stigma of being a hopeless optimist.

Thanks for the consideration Brother. Sleep Tight. :)

I completely agree wit you. I trade very rarely, and only after thinking hard before getting into one. I have been mostly looking for technical signals or some information before getting into any new trades.

I was only buying for intraday or where there were some TA tips to buy.

3iinfotech was bought around 11th November for BNST trading. Didn't get out because it was still very bullish.

HCC was also entered around 11th November from a buy signal generated by Anant Sir's system. All Real estate stocks fell after that, and have been stuck since... Was hoping Lavasa IPO would push it up... but didn't happen...

Ambuja Cement was bought yesterday, but went down a little. Thought I might be able to sell it today @ buying cost of 146.35, but after touching 145.90, it went down.

Vijayabank looked oversold. Bought at 102 on Friday. Was holding for 108 levels. Today, sold half @ 104.30 and held the remaining for expiry day... Bad luck...

Bought Balrampur Chini today for BNST trading... Buyers to Sellers ratio was almost 2:1... So, took a chance...

The stock market has kept tumbling for the last 10 sessions. Everyday, I hope it would rise. My last hope was the approaching expiry day, when I hoped the shorts would be covered, and I would be able to sell outstanding shares. But the opposite is happening...
Cheers!

Just the above underlined words are sufficient unto themselves, brother.
whenever you get time, read my favourite, Nobel prize winner, writer: Pearl Buck.

You sleep well, goodnight.

This time, it is final Goodnight guys!

If the script is in Futures try to look at the buy sell ratio there also before jumping in the corresponding equity. Also look at the volumes. This only works if you have been tracking the stock and know what is normal and what is not. I had to pay a lot of tuition fees to the market to learn this simple lesson and get it fixed into my thick skull:gun2:

Also I would like to add and maybe SG sir or anyone else can correct me if I am wrong; When you are selling a stock you have an option of disclosed quantity and actual quantity. When you are selling try putting 1000 Shares as actual quantity that is if you own 1000 shares and in disclosed quantity you can put 1 share. Now your sell order will be displayed to public as 1 share to be sold instead of 1000. That is how institutions trick us.
