Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On

Hi Premothi,

If I remember correctly you had posted before in Gauhar's thread of Opto Circuit
about choosing between ICICI & LIC

Anyways, what took you so long... to ask for an entry in SBI @ 3375... it becomes difficult to ask a trader to cut his position 400-500 bucks down from his entry....

There is no point squaring this position at this point of time....

Will work out something..whereby you can maintain your existing position and get into something either Intraday or a couple of days HOLD to offset some of your loss from this position....Please do let me know if it is ok by you....

SG Sir,

You are right - I had asked about LIC and ICICI - took your advice and made a neat profit of Rs.30k - Thanks again!.

Will wait for your suggestion - looking forward to it. Also let me know the stoploss method ie., should I have stoploss at 1% below purchase cost - how does it work?

Dear SG,

It's always a pleasure to get advice from the master. I would surely do as per your suggestion.

First movie of Fellini that I watched was - Le notti di Cabaria (a very boring one) but his first movie - I vitelloni had something similar to Ritwik Ghatak's movies. Have watched most of his movies when staying at the hostel... Never watched any of Lang's movies (would surely watch some :)). Personal choice - Kubrick, Ghatak, Ray, Welles, Goddard (though I think a few of his movies were made just for the sake of doing it), Bunuel, Pasolini (though his movies are completely for different taste or frame of mind), Bergman from the past...

Never watched movies during market hours...:) Yeah...it was the first movie I saw...;) Shall I average or get out of the 5900 CE or wait?

What are you targeting. specific amount per month ?
Are you buying wrt some specific SIP portfolio ?
Specific for Investment with view of 2-3 years.
But as Savantji asked, why opt for paying higher price when you are going to get in lower!
I'm now going to invest, not to trade for 5-6 months, so whatever scrip I think is good for investment I'm buying but not in bulk. I'll be buying in small quantities.
Is it good, Savantji?

Hi SG,

This is my current portfolio

ACC [email protected]
CORPBANK [email protected]
FEDERALBNK [email protected]
ICRA 4@1212
INDIAN BANK [email protected]
SRF [email protected]
VOLTAS [email protected]

TOTAL : ~41k

Also I have 46 shares of Deltacorp @ 70.30, but this remaining is after I have got back my Rs 7030 of my initial investment on Deltacorp, so I am not going to include in my trading account portfolio; allowing deltacorp to run up and down as it feels to (as long as it does not go way below 70.30 :D)

I have 1L to invest, so I am eyeing at coalindia, vijayabank. But I would like to know what stoploss can i keep or atleast the number shares to buy(will figure out the SL), if I want to keep only 1% risk on my remaining 1L.
