Yes, on individual stocks, he does seem positive whenever Tata Motors is mentioned.

He was seeming mildly positive overall in a very interesting interview with CNBC on Diwali night which might have to do with the fact that he was a forced bachelor that day :) (apologies to ladies in advance)

Has anyone ever seen Shankar Sharma talking positive in last 2-3 years? :p

Hi JI ,

One suggestion today it was a very good day for traderji members who r all followed your trades.. Even Prashant patel end up in Profit( No offence here)
So if you provide these kind of guidance one day for every month we can see easily Profit of 10 thousand with a capital 1.5 to 2 lakh.

Please consider my request i know your are busy... But One day for one month...

Suggestions welcome...

Couldn't help it ...there were lots of torn shirts around...and when it comes to shorting...most are uncomfortable... therefore had to provide a li'l moral support

Oh..hmm..But whenever I have seen him talking..he is all about gloom and doom scenario..he always finds things unreasonably gung-ho!

Some of other analysts are quite funny...for instance..Gujral will say something simply because he has to say..Baliga of Karvy will alays find things expensive..and makes sure to recommend buying at 10-15% fall..no matter what's the price..no wonder..Karvy is still struggling in broking business..:p

I dont understand why these channels don't ask analysts about their earlier calls. One day they will say buy, the next day its sell. I just put his name into Google since I don't really know names of all these analysts.

A sequence of his comments:
18 Feb, 2010: Sensex may drop to 12K level. This year is the down year for equities and within the context, emerging markets will do worse than the US markets.

20 Aug, 2010: Sensex was at 18000. His comment, Sensex may slip to 15,500 or 16,000.

And today: Bull market may end in 2-3 months

It will be better if news channels come on this forum and take SG's views :)

Got this as well, Sharma has been banned from dealing in securities for one year for his alleged role in manipulating stock prices. (February 14 2009)
