Worse part was if you held BGR a little while more you could have made at least 510. Obviously the problem was with viewing the right time frame and perceiving the strength in the stock.
ps. SG was long from 635 why did you sell it off esp since you were in equity?
SG sir got in @ 615 and sold one lot @ 631. So, I panicked... :D

Dear Deneb,

You are lucky that you traded in a stock like NHPC which is very low in volatility...:) I had a tremendous experience of intraday trading in Jindal Steel almost a year back... Took 500 shares in lot size of 100 each and around 2:40 pm the avg. profit per share was around 35-38 bucks... Suddenly Reliancemoney's trading platform stopped working...:annoyed: Around 3:20 pm I got the confirmation that all my stocks were sold... Was relieved of any auction hiccups... But there were more twists in the story than I could ever imagined... The total loss in the stock that day was only Rs 12000/-...That too was in round figure!!!
Really sorry to hear about your loss. Speaking of JSPL. I have it in my long term portfolio.:)

Congratulations, bro. You did well. Told you to enter with 50 or 100 shares, see the movement, and then add or exit accordingly. Good thing is, you took the baby steps toward profit booking.

By the way, your dad's money is yours too. Don't squander it like a thief!
Trade with your own, I would say, and you'd feel the weight of loss.

As far your dil mange more, read your own latest, brand new quotation! :)

Thank you bro... :)

I had read about "Risk Management" and I thought, "why not use Risk Management?" Smaller profits... even smaller losses... :)

My own account lost money even today... On such a good day. HCC and 3iInfotech, 100 each. I just think I should sell my holdings and get on with it. I must stop waiting for "that 1 rally when I can exit...."

Cheers! :)
