No strength in the markets at all. Its finding it impossible to cross 5909 levels once it crosses that next target would be 5929 followed by 5949 and finally 5990 and 60010 only then one can feel comfortable with longs.
I think when they say "Go with the flow" we ought to follow the price and not resolutely prefer to stick to long position, when there is no iota of supporting cues. Suppose every morning you just shorted at open after seeing no strength,no harm. expected banks to bottom out but suddenly it slipped. Not watching the news now what happened, which scam is next?
Of course shorting needs us as traders to go to the next level. I guess the markets are going down more often than up due .

SG sir, Sterlite has cracked 3% today. I can now sell my PUT 160 at a very small profit. My buying price is 2.80+0.25 brokerage (buying and selling Rs 100 each + taxes) = 3.05. Should I sell at 3.50? What is your view on this Sir?

Cashed out of Unitech @ 62.90. As always, expect that there is downside left but need to cover VIJ. Do not seem to have developed any understanding with her. She still giveth to me only what she taketh :).

Whoa! One day off the market and SLs get wiped off.

Still holding from Tuesday
1 lot VIJ @ 98.05
1 lot Dena CA130 @ 3.60
Short 1 lot Unitech @ 65.5

Hoping (actually praying :) now with the SBI news) to end up in the green by tomorrow. Good morning and happy trading to all.
