HONG KONG (MarketWatch) -- India's wholesale price index-based inflation rose 7.48% in November from the year-earlier month, easing from October's 8.58% increase, according to reports citing official data released Tuesday. The November inflation figure was in line with the 7.45% expected in a FactSet Research survey of economists. The WPI-based inflation figure is expected to ease further to 6% by March, India's finance minister Pranab Mukherjee said, according to a Reuters report.
