Hi Doc,

Presuming You Have A Charting Software Of Some Sorts

Plot The EOD Data With The Following Overlay On Candlesticks or Bars, Parameters Are As Follows:

a) SMA (Simple Moving Average) (Close, 5) (Colour Green or Red)
b) SMA (Simple Moving Average) (Close, 6) (Colour Black)
c) BB (Bollinger Band) (9, 2) & Select SMA If The Option Is Available

Once You Have Got All The Above, You Are In Business...

Just Study The Crossovers Of SMAs 5 Over 6 & Vice Versa, & Notice How The Price Reacts After The Crossovers, Nothing Very Complicated, At The Same Time Very very Powerful System.

Ok thanks got it, count me in for checking this valuable thread with your dedication to help out people.

But sir you didn't mentioned how you calculate the values. I am asking this because I don't want to miss this knowledge if its already mentioned in this huge thread or somewhere else in forum. I followed up till 20 pages but browsing 173 pages is really exhausting. If its not the case please forgive me, my intention is not to force you just careful that I am not missing the gems.

Some CANDLE-light can be added by taking OPEN as the field for the longer MA (only for the MA crossover part Don't know about the rest).

Where Have You Been, Please Have A Look At 'Nifty Intraday Pivot Point'
Trying To Work Something Very very Simple For Intraday Traders Of Nifty & BNF, Works On SMA4 & SMA5 Crossover, Not Much Noise, Quite Clean & BB of 9,2 Can Be Added For A Few Extra Trades.

Please Have A Look At It, Am Trying Convert All Intraday Data From October Till Now & Backtest It.

Hi Immi,

These Triggers Are Positional Not For Day, But That Doesn't Stop Day Traders From Trading The Triggers.
It Would Be Difficult To Give Targets For A Day, If You Use The Triggers For Day Trading, Then My Suggestion Would Be, If You Get 2-6% In A Day Then Definitely Take Them Off The Table.
