hi Doc.Vijay.

a small suggestion. why don't you trade in F&O? In F&O segment you can square off the position at any time or roll over for any no. of months and need not be bothered about T+2 etc.,

only thing is the initial margin, which be around 25K for Nifty and 50-70k for stocks.

a small suggestion. why don't you trade in F&O? In F&O segment you can square off the position at any time or roll over for any no. of months and need not be bothered about T+2 etc.,

only thing is the initial margin, which be around 25K for Nifty and 50-70k for stocks.

a) Fear Of Auction, Because Of The Last Incident, Speak To Sharekhan Somebody Such As VP Customer Service Not Some Flunky, Tell Them You Will Be Trading BTST In Liquid Frontline Stocks & If This Auction Thing Is Going Happen With Liquid Stocks Then You Are Going Move To Another Brokerage.

b) In This Travel Of Yours, Digging & Absorbing Information, You Will Need To Get Off The Jet & Travel In A Train, Even Better If You Travel In A Car, That Way Your Travel Through The Tomes Of Information Will Be Much More Enjoyable.

c) If You Need EOD Database I Can Give You That For All Stocks In NSE For Individual Stocks....No Problem At My End

d) Through All That You Are Absorbing, You Will Need To Identify What Part Of Your Capital Needs To Be Invested For Duration Where Those Stocks Remain B.HOLD Till They Give A SELL Trigger (I Don't Believe In Short Term, Long Term Or Any Term For That Matter, Will BUY When It Triggers BUY & SELL When It Triggers SELL....Whether This Happens In A Week Or After 6 Months I Am Ok, Let The Stock & Your System Decide When To BUY & When To SELL)

e) What Percentage Of Your Capital Is Allocated For Day Trading

f) After All Your Digging, Comes The Hard Part, Selecting & Adopting What Is Suitable For What....Once That Decision Is Made, Forget About Looking For Any Kind Of New System Which Might Be Better, Then Just Concentrate On Your Intraday & Positional Trading.

g) Make A List Of Stocks For Your Trading & Scan For Only Those, Max You Will Have Is About 200 Odd Stocks In The List.
