Captain Bearish CrossOver Confirmation For Punjlloyd Came On 21 April, Then Why Exit Signal After 2 Days? Is It Similar Like You Wait For 2-3 Days After Buy Is Triggered To Check It's Strength? Kindly Explain.

Thanks.:)

Guys,

There Are No Fresh Triggers & No Change With Existing Ones.

But Be Careful With PUNJLLOYD, If It Shows Any Weakness, It Is Suggested To Exit.

Doc,

My System Is Not Designed To Point Out The Exact Crossover, Which After I Monitor It For Sometime, Will Get It Changed.

Yes The Stop Loss Would Have Triggered On 21st...But Then I Am Not Updating The Stop Loss Everyday Now,

Think I Had Mentioned It In One Of My Earlier Post While Discussing.

Savant sir,
The crossess on 5 And 6 MA showed a potential minefield out there. A total of 78 scrips were posted as BUY when analysis was done.
Can you please throw some light on that topic?

Vicky,

I Have Mentioned This Before You Have To Have A List Of Fundamentally Good Companies To Scan For, NOT Everything That Is Listed.

Therefore, If You Can Filter Those, Better For Your Mental Health & Wealth.

I Have No More Than 192 Companies That I Scan For, Don't Really Care About Others Whether They Are BUY Or Not.

Hi DJ,

Sincere Apologies Somehow I Missed This Post Completely & From Doc's Reply I Thought May Be You Have Posted This In The AmiBroker Section.

Thanks A Ton, I Think & Hope This Will Become A Very Important AFL.

Ok, Now A Few Points For You To Observe, There Is A Pattern Of BB, If Pierced On The Upper BB, It Usually Can Be A Breakout On The Upside, Cross Check Any Charts To Confirm What I Am Talking About Ofcourse Broader Market Should Also Be In The Uptrend For It.

Similarly, For The Lower BB.

Will Discuss How To Identify This In May Sometime, At The Moment Busy With Tweaking Something.....:)

Thank You Very Much Once Again For All Your Hardwork & Belief.

Hi all
I've written a AFL for MA crossover coupled with BB penetration check. It's written based on Savant-ji's trading strategy.

What the code does:
1. Searches through the universe of scrips for those which have shown BB penetration (lower one for BUY and upper one for SELL) earlier and price has started to move away in the opposite direction.
2. Filters the set based on MA crossovers. It eliminates those stocks where MA crossovers haven't taken place in that day or the day before. (Can be modified to include more number of days to consider).
3. Filters the set based to average daily volume for the last 5 days. Keeps those where avg vol is greater than 20 lacs.

NB: This strategy this code follows is slightly different than Savant-ji's strategy. Here emphasis has been placed on BB penetration first, then on MA crossover. Whereas, I think, Savant-ji does the other way round.

Attaching the code below:

Please throw in your valuable comment regarding any changes or modifications needed.
