One thing I was quite sure beforehand that your answer to this query would definitely have fundamentals as one of the reasons and I'm glad that I was thinking in right direction. Now, does that prove that technicals alone w/o fundamentals can't predict about huge moves (100% kind) like this. You need to keep an eye on fundamentals to catch these huge moves.
Just quoting an example here in support of my point:
ABAN has a resistance at 1000. If it breaks out of that resistance, then next major resistance is at 2500 (150% upmove). But, just on the basis of technicals, someone entering after 1000 breakout would never think that now he's got the chance to ride it upto 2500 or it will go upto 2500 now. But someone, who knows that it has strong fundamentals & sector is strong (just hypothetically saying, I dont have any idea abt its fundamentals) would think that yes it can double up quickly because of its potential to grow and has probability of going upto 2500.
