Hi L2T,

By The Way Check The Review Of BUYHOLD I Posted Today, Now That Is Purely Technical, Performance Isn't All That Bad For A Couple Of Months Of Holding & Another Point To Remember, When Nobody Was Recommending BUY & Predicting Even Lower Low Of October, Now Who Were The Guys Doing It, Fund Managers & Most Surprisingly Even The So Called Big TAs.

Fundamentals Is Not Something I Read On Individual Stocks, But Keep A Wider View Of Indian Economy, World Economy....& Basically General Stuff...Just A Habit With Me, Even When I Was Not In The Stock Market.

Now, If I Had Said Book All Your Profits On The Calls Given So Far, It Wouldn't Have Been A Fair Assessment, While The Returns Would Have Fair To Excellent.

Now That We Have Put So Much Points On The Nifty & Sensex, It Is Good To Have A Frequent Look At The Charts & While My Habit Of Knowing What A Sector & Economy Is Doing Does Help, But Can't Quantify.

One Thing I Will Stick My Neck Out On Nifty Taking Out It's January High Before March '10.....

Hello Savant,

It is very difficult to go through all the threads for a Masters student like me and some other... i have read a few pages from the Saint's Link "Teach a man to fish". it is very difficult for ppl to go through it.

SO i am picking up all the tips of reading graphs and putting them in MS word along with all the techniques and definitions for the newbies as i read through it ...... Once i am done with it i can send it to anyone who requests for it OR i can post it in the thread if there is a way of doing it....

So, in order to get the document just delete every thing between HTTP: and (dot)com and type rapidshare and enter.... the rest of the link is the same....

Purchased one lot of RNRL May 09 Futures @ Rs. 72 and exited @ Rs. 83. Is there any more steam left in RNRL?

Those are volume calculations ie number of contracts traded.

If you go on a EOD charts, it shows the average number of contracts traded for last 5 days.

Same calculation can be used on 5 mins TF, where the average would be calculated on basis of last 5 bars.(in this case for last 25 mins).
