jumped into unitech bandwagon and got 5000shares @86.60/- and yesterdays close was 76+ .........:annoyed:
Hey,

Man dont worry.....Unitech will surely cross 100+.... Athough it doesnt look good for me (from the charts).... But i a NOT sure if the fall is due to the correction or there is a problem with Unitech itself........ Will find out from Savant Sir... :)

Hi mogembo,

For Intraday or for short term, SMA (5,6) with BB (9,2) is used.

Triggers were based on SMA (20 50) with BB (9,2)

Hope you are clear now :)

Arvind
Hi Arvind,

DO u have some kind of Ebook on how to use BB and crossovers for different situations?

Thanks

Savant Sir is out of station. Likely to return after a short break. I too was out of station. Just came back. Resuming from tomorrow, probably.

Hi izzner,

If you have purchased UNITECH @ 86.60 then it was on 1-6-2009. That was late for entry. The actual entry was aroung March 20 when it was trading in the range of 25-30. Presently the SL is around 72.30. The Friday's upmove has given a hope that it may move up further. If that happens then the SL will also move up and you may go into safe zone. So, it is better to watch it a little more and take a decision

Hi anant,

I am new to amibroker.I just want to get familiar with afl,so writing small functions.I want to write a function to find down or up trend using afl.Can u plz help me.
Thanks,
Arti
Hi Arti,

To write the AFL you have to define your condition based on which you want to say whether the stock is in uptrend or downtrend. If you define your strategy I will show you how to write the AFL.
