thanks a lot savantji,

pls reflect your views on penny stocks as well.

Hi Rishi,

Everything Has Some Amount Of Risk Attached To It....Driving Is Risky, But Then Walking On The Road Too Is Risky.

Hmmmmm.......My Experience With Forex Has Been Good So Far....But Then I Have Devoted Lot Of Time Learning Things....& Trying To Find Reasons To Why Something Happened At That Point Of Time.....It Can't Be A Part Time Trading For Anybody....Needs Constant Vigil......Especially If Your Position Amounts To More Than 10% Of Base Capital.

If Trading With Only 5% At Any Given Time Then It Can Be More Relaxed...Provided You Have Taken Position As Per Your Plan That Has Proved Consistent In The Past.....Basically 60 Min. & 4 Hr.TF Is Ideal For It.

One Has To Be Aware Of All The News For The Day That Could Affect The Movement Of Particular Currency....Therefore, There Is Lots To Keep Up With, Eventually Should Become Second Nature.

hi B,

pse update on SBIN and DLF.

reg
SBI (500112)
SBI has gone up on reduced selling pressure rather than organic increase in demand. Gained at closing but volumes are lower than that of yesterday.

Now tomorrow, if it gains at closing, along with higher volumes, you can go long as it would be a bullish reversal. If this does not happen, this is just a dead cat bounce and downtrend is likely to continue. So then you can open new short positions on Thursday.

DLF (532868)
Reduction in selling pressure has provided a support to the falling prices. Tomorrow, it is expected to gain on account of reduction in supply rather than increase in demand.

If it gains at closing, along with higher volumes, it will be a reversal and you can open long positions. Ideally, a closing above 368.5 would be very good for long positions.

BTW, please don't "shortkut" my username!

Savant Sir,
After trying a lot of systems, theories, etc. I am finally comfortable with candlesticks(with volume to confirm).

May last few posts in this thread were based on that. I would like to know if you feel the same as I feel about those stocks.

I know your trading system is different, but I believe we both should be able to reach a similar conclusion.(But they may not be correct, as the market is above all our analysis, it can humiliate us any moment!)

Thanks for your time an efforts.

hI lANCER ,

COULD YOU PLEASE SEND THAT LINKS TO MY MAIL ID [email protected]

Hi Bunny,

Thanks for the insight of knowledge base expansion. But do these books really help ? Too many cooks spoil the broth. Trading is all about a technique that suits you the best and it is to keep it simple. BB (Trading Wth Candlesticks) , SMA crossovers and Stochs. are quite enough; earlier explained by Savant do suffice the cause. Following too many patterns can hamper trading as nothing matters except *PRICE* and the insinct to go for the kill at the right moment to extract your profit on Long Or Short. It can come only with following the chart patterns on regular basis.

For example:- The market has ben falling for last three days. How much have you made on going short despite of the falling charts ? I have lost and could not supress the positive sentiments inside myself to go short.

What I have seen within a short span of trading that one needs to build an insinct to put the theories to practice. Guys like Gujral & co have plethora of cash available with them and never loose money in the market. They would always like to shake off the small investors like us and pickup gold nudgets. Watch them speak on channels for Disclosures .... Normally they do not hold any positions on the Buys reccomended.... So! They do not want to disclose their real holdings for the fear that you will jump into their band waggon.

All the teching are available in this forum and one needs to dig on real deep to get the nector.:)It needs hard work and without it, spoon feeding is asking a man never to growup. There is no need to anywhere else. If you are interested in books here it is.................

I do not mean to sound harsh but maintain that this forum has all that a trader needs.:thumb:

Wishes,

Lancer.
