Hi Gruuvy,

I Am Also Coming Across This Term....For The First Time...Perhaps Could Be Something To Do With Having Bought The Shares In The Last Couple Of Days & Settlement Period Is Not Complete Meaning It Hasn't Come To Your Demat Account Yet....

Somebody Else More Familiar With The Term, Could Solve It For You....& If It Is A Broker Specific Term....Then I Suggest You Speak To The Customer Service Of Your Broker.

Hi

Does this means I can go for BUY for SATYAM @121 today?
I am planning to buy something today for next 3/4 months , Can you pl suggest something ( especially after y'days rally as everything is UP )?

Savantji/Seniors,

I have tried Nifty options on intraday basis with small capital (10k) as i don't know anything except call and put . I booked profit of around 2k+ in the last two sessions:thumb:. But My query here is about the broking charges. I paid huge money on that around 1k+. When i enquired about it, they have replied that the charges are

For intraday: 1st leg: 0.1% 2nd leg: 0.02%

But i dont know what is 1st leg and 2nd leg. Can anyone explain me what it is?? and How they are calculating?? Is the strike price which i bought and the spot nifty price at the time of transaction playing any role in this??:confused:

Awaiting for your replies.

P.S. My broker is Sharekhan and i am attaching my trade summary for the 2 sessions. Please help me out in this regard.

Hello,

Satyam is showing good strength..... But wait for the market today and then buy... Also Buy them in 3 or 4 parts..... it will give u decent profits in 3-4 months:clap:

Hi Chandra,

Sorry for delay in replying. Your logic and implementation is perfect. Only a couple of things I want to point out:

1. In the beginning you have "_N(Title = ...." which is nullified by the "Title = ..." in the end. No harm. The last "Title = " is taken. You can remove _N(Title = ..." at the beginning.
2. As it is programmed, there are a lot of whipsaws generated. I am also implementing a similar AFL. I am attaching a chart of ABB below. The upper chart is generated by my AFL and the lower one is by yours. I have circled three areas. You can see that the areas in yellow circles have more whipsaws in your chart compared to the corresponding areas in my chart.
3. The area in pink circle has a couple of signals in your chart whereas no signals in my chart.

A little more tweaking and you will get much better performance from the AFL. I will discuss these issues when I present my system shortly.

Overall, it is a very good effort and implementation. Congratulations. Keep it up.

The ABB char is here:

Blood Money - Options brokerage is fixed brokerage and not in percent terms. You must be having the contract you signed with SK, check that abt brokerage or any email recd on updation of brokerage.

TG - ICICI charges 100/- per leg for delivery, only one leg for intraday sq off. So for 30 lots = 30x100x2=6K+ taxes etc. Ok.

Most brokerages give 100/- as standard options rate (a bit high) others have 40 per leg and some are very cheap @9/- per leg (Religare or Angel - i am unsure).

Hi Sumit,

The answer is given by mangafreakz above. The charts are drawn using AmiBroker software.

@mangafreakz,

Thanks for replying on my behalf.
