Hi SG,

I need your advice on my options holdings:
a) Long 4400 CE 100 @ 415
b) Short 4900 CE 100 @ 60
c) Short 5000 CE 150 @ 50
d) Short 5100 CE 50 @ 28
Net position delta is + 6
Should I hold on to the 4900 CE ? Also should I short more 5100 CE at Nifty rise to 4900 ?

Regards
Anmol

Dear Anant,

Can you please suggest me the time line (i.e. 15 Days, 1 Month, 2 mon. etc.) for the current buying stocks.

Regards,
Hardik
Hi Hardik,

There is no time frame for achieving targets in my system, you have to keep watching for Target hit / Stop Loss hit or Sell trigger based on EOD. The same will be posted in daily updates.

Thanks Savant,
I think I need to read or study a lot to understand stock jargons.
So if SELL order is placed in Market Order (not under LIMIT) - does your stocks gets sold to the exchange or to Buyers? Like if at the time of you are selling your stocks (in MARKET ORDER) does your stock gets sold even if there exist no buyer during that time?
Hope i understood correctly

Hi SG,

Thanks for your advice. In fact, I have written 5100 CE at market rise today.
I have once querry. In case at expiry what happens if I do not square off the bought 4400 CE as the liquidity is less and bid/ask difference is high ?

Regards
Anmol

Hi Pravin,

Whether a market order or limit order, your stock is sold only if there is a buyer. Similarly your Buy order can buy the stock only if there is a seller. Exchange does not buy or sell. It is a place where the buying and selling is facilitated. Just like a regular market. In the regular market like a vegetable market, fruit market etc. there are vendors who want to sell their product (fruits, vegetables etc.). If there is some customer to buy then only their product is sold. If nobody buys then the vendor has to take his product back home. Market does not buy it. In physical market we (buyers) generally directly buy from the seller. In Stock market we buy or sell through brokers.

I think you got your doubt cleared.
