Re: Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On - Chapter II

Hello friends,

I am Anant. I am posting in this forum for the first time. Most of my posts are in Karthik Marar's threads "Experiments in Technical Analysis" and "System Implementation Excercise". For long time I have not posted in Traderji though I am regularly going through the messages in the forum.........................

.................................................That's all about the logic of the AFL and its working internals.

The instructions for its usage are in the next post.

Regards

-Anant

P.S. : This was originally posted in the main thread http://www.traderji.com/equities/10035-stocks-keep-close-eye-341.html#post316932. As per Savantji's suggestion I am posting it here. As the attachment is already in the original post I am not allowed to attach it here again. You may please download it from the original post.
I am getting this error with this AFL :

if(Dt == BuyDate)

{

BarNum = i;

break;
--------^

Error 29.
Variable 'break' used without having been initialized.

Re: Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On - Chapter II

What does this mean :

1. Revised Target & SL
2. First Target & SL
3. 2nd Target & SL
4. New Target to be Set
5. To be removed

These are all in the excel sheet posted by Uma.
Hi Fahed,

1. --> it means the stock has already reached the earlier set targets and the target and stop loss given in the columns are revised (next target expected).

2. --> This means the Target & SL are the ones originally given by SG and are not yet achieved.

3. --> Same as 1. but the difference is the first target (as described above) is reached and the second one is awaited.

4. --> The target is reached yesterday and the next target/SL will be given by SG.

5. --> This stock has hit Stop Loss (or Triggered Sell) yesterday and will be removed in the next edition of the Excel File.

Regards

Symbol Trigger Date Signal C. M. P. Target StopLoss
ITC.NS 05/18/2009 B 205.78 260.08 184.33
ITC.NS 06/02/2009 B 191.1 215.14 178.7

Hi Fahed,

The triggers you have got are correct. What is the confusion?
