Hi Coldice,
GMR underwent a stock split. You will get twice the shares at half the price. If you note that half of 140 is 70 and the stock is 72, it has increased in price.

You had 1 share at 140 = 140, now you get 2 shares at price 72 = 144.

A cheaper stock price will encourage smaller investors to invest as well as the big guns. No real big effect to us, but should be slightly positive.

All the best.

Re: Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On - Chapter II

Hi Uma,

In the spreedsheet dcb was bought @43.70 [ie day high price]
But savanthji recomendation was -- BUY DCB (CMP 43.05) @43.90
since it didn't reach the trigger @43.90 should it be in yesterdays buy list ?
Please correct me if am wrong..

Thanks in Advance!!!
Hi relichunter,

Savantji has told several times earlier that the suggested price is only a guideline for ensuring that price moves up. It is not mandatory to buy only at or above that price. You are free to purchase at any price you are comfortable with. Although the price of DCB did not reach the suggested level, it is shown as bought at the price of 43.70 because that is the nearest to the suggested price. After years of Savantji's experience and all his triggers in the thread you can be sure that the stock will move up irrespective of whether it reaches the suggested price or not. Rarely the triggers would have failed to move up after posting here.

The Excel file contains the data as per Savantji's triggers and suggested price. They are not actual trades.

Regards

Re: Stock FUTURES To Keep A Close Eye On

Hi All
I wish to start trading in options but I don't have any knowledge nor experience for that, apart from just knowing how basically the option works. Please tell me how can I start trading in options and is there an Exchange for that too??? What are the prices attached to options... In case of Call:)confused:I Guess so) option suppose if the price of the script reaches the strike price then is it necessary to practice the option i.e. buy the stock or can the profit be realized in some other way too in case one doesn't have sufficient funds:clapping: to actually use that option to buy the script????

And also for Put:)confused:Again I'm not sure) option does one have to hold the scripts before buying the option or is there some other arrangement for that???
visit investopedia.com and u will get all to learn from there.

Hi Savant

wanted to understand in detail about the same. In my case have just booked profit on IDFC (buy - 144.10, sold - 154.10), bought earlier as per your triggers

Is it possible to only short IDFC or only go long in IDBI?

Am aware that you are busy during market hours, so you can explain at your convenience

thanks & regards

Amit
